I have found that almost all the Goodwills in the south are way overpriced and this is just one more example of that. I don't know if it's the people in charge that run this store or they just don't get donations anymore, but this place offers zero to the customers. It's basically just a low-end used clothing store. What little housewares they do offer are dirty, broken, and things that should go to the dump, not be offered for sale. They have almost no books, dvds, games, puzzles, or other media and I know they have to be getting a lot of that type of stuff donated to them - so where is it all going??
As to the clothes they offer. They are all low-end, cheap brands (Target, Walmart, Kohl's, etc) and they price them all too high. If Goodwill wants to be charitable, how about not gouging prices for clothes that are cheap to begin with and mark them what they're really worth. The store also always looks dirty and unorganized. It makes you feel like you need to run and take a shower after you've been there. read more
