This is a general review of Lee Health based on visits to a number of providers at their various…read morelocations in and around Ft. Myers / Cape Coral. I was drawn to Lee because they're hooked up to My Chart and Epic, which provides continuity of care with all member subscribers. Providers are able to pull up my medical history, as am I, going back to when I lived in Atlanta. (From my vantage, this should be a national system so all doctors are on the same page, so to speak.) I've had both excellent experiences at Lee and some that left me scratching my head in wonder. One provider neglected to thoroughly review a CT scan. Had I not read my report, a potentially problematic result would have been ignored. It goes without saying that you have to be vigilant and proactive about your own health. If you don't have the mental acuity to do that, hopefully someone close can step in on your behalf. (I saw the necessity to oversee all of my mother's healthcare when she was in her nineties and still very sharp.) The Lee facilities I've been to are modern and well-tended. The staff has always been polite with ancillary personnel efficient and qualified. Their labs are well-run and infinitely better than the independent places I've gone to when out of town. While no system is perfect, I'm by-and-large pleased with Lee.

If you're looking for clothing for your grandma, this would be a great place to browse. Styles and patterns are definitely designed for senior citizens. Easy, flat walking tour (or you can ride in their golf cart). Jane was great as a tour guide, with a wealth of knowledge and an easygoing style of sharing information. What an incredible amount of plants here ! While their focus is more on edible plants and plantings, there was more than enough for people interested in colorful or blooming plants and trees. Beautiful setting, like walking through a tropical arboretum, lush and tropical. We were given samples of probably a dozen leaves to eat or smell through our tour. It really opened my eyes to trying to plant a few things that I hadn't considered before. There's also a small gift shop with some unique items as well as a nursery/garden center with some of the many plants that we had seen on our tour. Nice variety and decent prices !

This program needs a complete overhaul…read more Long story short, because of poor leadership and poor evaluation of the dogs prior to entering program, our dog was attacked twice and my husband was bitten. Instead of the "star student" (which is what my puppy started off being in the class, per the "trainers") my dog and husband have to start all over. We hope the effects of this will not be on going but my husband and dog have been negatively affected by the poor decisions of this program. My husband is a combat veteran with severe PTSD. He equates the horrors of the poor leadership and having our dog ATTACKED to be like watching his friend shot in combat. Class is merely suggestive and you would get better support and training at a local petsmart. Poor communication amongst the leaders leaves students with more confusion than confidence. Students are often asking for help (via in person or text ) and are not answered. Students are often left wondering when and where classes are. There is a serious lack of communication. I'm not quite sure how they select the dogs for the program as several are extremely reactive towards dogs and people. Not what you'd expect from a trained service dog or even service dog in training. There's a President of the group who remains clueless as to what type of training is happening in the group. Claimed to not know any of the serious issues that occur in the group. They claim "No Veteran left behind " but as a result of poor communication and leadership many are left wondering what is going on. I hope another program with better leadership comes along. We need to help the veterans not set them back. We did meet some lovely people and dogs and we wish them the best. All in all, I'd not recommend this program for people who are seriously interested in service dog training. Seek professional help elsewhere.

It's absolutely the best in the whole Fort Myers area. After touring and searching in desperation for the right one for my daughter. I wish I had known about this place earlier.... The whole staff is amazing with so much heart, love, and a caring mindset. It's wonderful seeing my daughter and the rest of the children get excited about going to daycare/school here. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualized way.
