They send you progress reports and check in with pictures when your animals stay, which I greatly appreciate. They DID NOT tell us that it could cause a "paradoxical reaction" in my puppy. When we described the symptoms they then prescribed MORE of the same medication for him. We finally did our own research and found out that these meds were causing this reaction. And if we hadn't mentioned the possibility of this, the vet would've had no idea. Then when we confronted the HEAD VET at this institution about these problems. I was given NOTHING but excuses and justification for their mistake. I was then told that we were making it a bigger deal than it was. Shortly after, the HEAD VET had a MELTDOWN in front of his paying clients. He REFUSED anymore advising (probably for the best) and then proceeded to walk out on us and slammed the door on us. READ THIS and understand that if this is how the head veterinarian treats his patients, he should NOT be allowed to preform any kind of medical practice. And I strongly advise you stay as far away as possible. If they cannot handle being told when they made a mistake, then they should not be responsible for the wellbeing of our pets. UNACCEPTABLE

Our pup is old (16 years), kind of blind, definitely deaf, the usual arthritis in the hips, etc but healthy otherwise! Dr. G added another pill to his usual regimen, which has helped his mobility. He refuses to get sick! He has been there to get his nails trimmed recently, and the hospital is so convenient, and the vibe is welcoming. Definitely recommend Brier Creek Animal Hopsital!
