We had a random water problem that happened 2 days before Christmas. Called our usual places first…read moreand they would either end up charging us for after hours or wouldn't be able to get us in until the next day (during which we had plans to be elsewhere). Gibsons was able to be there within a few hours. Our technician was Jason M. He was polite, knowledgeable, wore shoe covers (I hate having shoes worn in the house, so this was important to me), and seemed pretty thorough. Best of all he wasn't trying to cause problems where there were none. In other words, he thought, based on his years of experience, that watching the problem (to see if it really was a problem) was the best course of action rather than drilling a hole in our ceiling. More than a week later and his hypothesis seems to be holding true. It was nice to be able to have someone come out when we needed a quick assessment. It was even nicer that no extra work (i.e., $$ charges) was done when it wasn't necessary. Based on this experience with Jason M., I would definitely recommend Gibson's to others. (Why not a 5 star then? Well, in a case like this I would prefer to have several positive experiences from a company like this before bestowing the highest possible rating to insure a consistent wonderful experience. Additionally, I usually reserve 5 stars for something that goes far and away, above and beyond, which I would not expect to happen during every visit.)

Called around for 4 estimates, and we decided that J & J had the best deal on buying both a furnace and AC. From the time we put 50 percent down, it was 1 week until the units were installed! We were able to finance the remaining at a very good deal. The workers did a superb job and cleaned up everything afterwards, including hauling away the old equipment. Funny gentleman stated its a obsolete Freon thus the excessive cost yet even funnier for a product obsolete and in short demand it happened to be on his truck? Had them come quote HVAC late last year so I assume they know the Freon type so I'll give them that but not relaying cost before doing said work - I'll see to getting a quote elsewhere now for new units!

Hired them to install a new tank on my well. Their master plumber said everything was good and…read moreleft. Then an hour later my pump motor burned up. Their so called master plumber never let any of the air out of the new tank so my pump short cycled it self to death. Tried calling but they never returned a call. Call somewhere else.
