A few months back I booked a standard hair appointment for 11am, I had a wedding to go to that weekend & I've had a few good cuts here many, many years ago (the guy left to open his own shop - he was amazingly talented) - who replaced him was a guy who had 0 experience & he messed up my cut so for 5 years I didn't go back. Fastforward to the appointment; I arrived 15 minutes early, went inside, saw there was someone still being cut by the person I booked with - he said a few words & when 11am came around - he told me he fit his friend in & I'd have to get cut by the same guy I stopped going to goodfellas because of - & I had to wait another 15/20 minutes. Kinda unacceptable. Super Cuts quality is what I received at $35. Now if it was a simple cut, sure, I wouldn't mind - but I had been growing my hair out for at least a year & this dude butchered it & put in zero effort, again - 4+ years later. It was like a 15 minute haircut & it wasn't even what I asked for. I asked for a drop fade & the dude gave me a crew cut & didn't blend the top. I've since shaved it all off because it grew in so unevenly textured. I get it, they're the only game in town, but cancelling a time specific appointment with a specific barber to put his friend in the chair? Guy you're like 50 years old, business comes before friendship at your age & you lost a customer, again! Anyway, the quality & customer experience has fallen so far at this place, I'm sure if you know these guys you'll have a good experience, like having someone's appointment booted for you - but that wasn't my experience. Poor business model, unprofessional service & had to listen to these dipshits cutting hair rave about politics. Won't be back! read more

Probably the best barbershop I've ever been to. As soon as I walked in, Kendrick Lamar was bumping. The clientele was all young, but when older clients came in, the owner switched the music. Before Brenwin did anything, we talked about what I wanted with my haircut and beard trim. I appreciated that a lot. Very friendly staff and punctual as I set up an appointment. I don't think I'll even try another barber in the area. If it's not broke why try and fix it! Can't wait to go again! read more

quality service most of the time, just got a haircut from lance and he claimed i was 10 minutes late and he didn't know if he would be able to finish my haircut (we were already 10 minutes into the haircut) my phone says i got there at 3:33 and my haircut was scheduled for 3:30. he was very rude when my mother called me to ask where i was. i recommend everyone else, lance is unprofessional, atleast with me. did not end up finishing my haircut in time because he was doing the back for 30 minutes. very unsatisfied read more

Since I moved to the Portland area of Maine from Southern NH over the summer, I had to find a new Barber, because I was going to the same barber for years back home in Londonderry. The vibe of the shop is great, and I haven't had a "bad" cut yet... My favorite barber is definitely Eric, he has absolutely smashed exactly what I wanted every time I've seen him. Would definitely recommend this place. It's walk in only, which is kind of annoying, but It's nice, because going to the barbers is an experience. read more

I can't say enough about the talent these guys have and the pride they display in their work . According to my wife, this was the best cut i've had since my wedding day 7 years ago (high praise). This place is the whole package - the staff were engaging and respectful, unique artwork covered the walls and the new location in downtown Gorham is a prime spot. The owner Chad sets the tone for the place. Hes got a cool demeanor and is obviously an expert at what he does. It was nice to see an owner coach and give props to his guys on jobs well done. All in all, Goodfellas has a fantastic old school vibe reminiscent of old hollywood mixed with Sons of Anarchy maybe? completely original. After bouncing around the old port for cuts and settling for convenience instead on quality, I have officially found my permanent spot. 5 stars! Highly reccomended. read more

Talk about awesome service! The little one(4years old) decided he wanted a "big boy" haircut. After over 200 pictures looked at he found the perfect one. I took him over to the guys at Goodfellas and talk about impressed. The gentleman that did his haircut was so gentle and patient (Bubba likes to wiggle), and he did a phenomenal job on the cut! I don't even recognize my boy. The shop is always busy (know a few men that go here) but it is totally worth the wait! Their prices are reasonable and service is top notch.
