There was even some sort of unity among the members. I am a member since three years and I am actively looking for better gyms now. The people who are signing up now are just not the same breed anymore. They are the same muppets you have in most of the cheap gyms. I don't need that. Let me pay a premium, so the gym stays premium. You are selling your brand. It's really disappointing.

I like the City location because it's small and you don't have to keep changing floors. At the same time, Eppendorf and Wandsbek have better and more selection of machines and feel less cramped. Eppendorf has the added benefit of having a climbing wall so if that's your thing, go here. I found that Eppendorf had the slowest staff. I've been going to the City location for some time now and their reception staff is actually the fastest I've experienced, meaning easier in and out at the reception. I complain about them being slow but Wandsbek were worse and Eppendorf the slowest and least helpful. Otherwise, this location as the others was clean and airy. Just as expensive as the other ones, with all the benefits and drawbacks this entails.

They have massive cardio machines spread throughout, squash courts, fitness classes ranging from yoga to zumba or even boxing and of course power sessions that focus on the problematic areas we all wish were perfect! Ahem, behind, tummy, and those spaghetti arms... After your workout session, the locker rooms are spacious, and one can relax in the sauna with a nice hot oil skin treatment and melt all your woes away....When warm weather returns to Hamburg, they host a lot of events here at night such as cocktail parties.
