I have met wonderful people who have become my friends. There are a lot of people here so sometimes you have to do your part to get involved. If you are a woman there is a great Bible study on Tuesday mornings. We sit at tables of 8 and you will get to know women right away. The church office will know more about other things your family can participate in. My children are grown so I don't know much about the children's ministries except that the kids like them a lot. This church is based on the teachings of the Bible and worships God in all three forms. (The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) The choir is great and so are the sermons. Come! You are welcome here! They do not make up rules and they teach you how to have a RELATIONSHIP with the Lord and not just have religion. I didn't really understand about the Holy Spirit. One evening, I will never be able to explain it, I was TRULY touched by the Holy Spirit at Calvary. I swear I have never felt more deeply in my heart everyday before that evening! Saints Peter and Paul is a vibrant community of young families, singles, married couples, and seniors. There are so many ministries and activities that you can definitely find something for everyone. There are several very active charitable ministries, and they do so much to take care of their own parishioners as well as the community. When my family moved to the area nine years ago, we were a young family and had very little materially. A job moved us to the area, and I was somewhat intimidated by Naperville as a whole. However, we could not have found a more welcoming, friendly community than at this parish. We felt immediately plugged in here and developed many wonderful friendships. The deacons and priests are also very approachable. You can tell that they genuinely care and bend over backwards to help others. They also offer an ambitious Mass schedule with two Masses on Saturday evenings and nine on Sundays as well as daily Masses. Add in a full schedule of Bible studies, parish activities, concerts, speakers, and many ministries, and you have a vibrant community worth checking out. The gorgeous church is an added bonus.

As someone who has had both positive and…read morenegative church experiences I think it's nice to know what to expect when you try out a new place. First, if you want to hear good truth and down to earth preaching this is the place. Scott Hodge's messages are helpful for your everyday life. He is honest and direct and doesn't avoid difficulr issues. The music is good but a little too modern for my taste, since we are usually late we miss much of the music anyway. We don't have kids but the play area for kids is beautiful. The coffee bar is nice to have available. They have Saturday evening services which we enjoy attending as we are not morning people. My only complaint would be the lack of small groups, I would like to be involved in a small group or bible study year round, they have some groups that last a few months. They also offer their sermons on their website or in cd form. When we are busy or sleep in and miss service we appreciate having multiple ways to hear the message. I highly recommend the Orchard. After several bad experiences, I now look forward to church each week.

Although I was married here back in 2015 (under the Hansen's) the church does miss them terribly. I'm eager to see what God has in store for his church under the Stingl's!
