5 Stars After losing…read moremy wife Kim three years ago, I was searching for more than just a place to go on Sundays--I was searching for healing, hope, and the presence of the Lord. I had been to Willow Creek Church off and on, but when my sister-in-law Rita invited me to The Well in Geneva, I felt something I hadn't in a long time: peace. From the very first time I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with open arms. The warmth, the authenticity, and the presence of God in that place are undeniable. My brother-in-law Keith is on the worship team, and watching him use his gift for God adds a personal touch every week. Pastor Jerry is a blessing. His teaching is deeply rooted in Scripture, but also full of real-life wisdom and love. His wife Carrie sings on the worship team--her voice reminds me of Amy Grant, maybe even a little better. Her singing touches the soul. What truly amazes me is the worship itself. A few of the singers on the team could easily be gold-record artists, but they've chosen to pour out their talents right here for the glory of God. That kind of humility and heart is rare--and it brings tears to my eyes. Pastor Shannon also speaks with such passion and purpose, especially to the younger generation. It's clear that this church is planting seeds of faith in all ages. The Well Church has not only been a place of worship for me--it's been a sanctuary. A place where I've felt God's presence so clearly. A place that helped me through grief. A place that gave me family in my deepest sorrow. Rita, my sister-in-law, has walked with me in grief counseling and faith, and The Well has been her hands and feet. I now look forward to every Sunday. It's close to home, but more than that--it feels like home. If you're hurting, searching, or simply looking for a place where God's love pours out freely, come to The Well. No words can explain the well !! I have tried so many times…read morein the past to find religion only to be discouraged. My perception from prior experiences with those who claimed to be a dedicated Christian was that they would step over a starving baby to run the sound board at the church. I could not understand why the ones that need the most help were looked down on or turned away. With the little knowledge I received from Sunday School this totally contradicted what I thought Jesus wanted. Knowing now I was in no place to judge, and I could have been mistaken about those previously mentioned. I have been blessed to witness at the Well so many compassionate acts I could never come close to list them all. If I have to share one thing is that becoming a Christian tomorrow is scary. The pressure of being perfect and giving up all the fun stuff was overwhelming to me. Knowing now that all I need to do was open my ears and heart and the holly sprit gradually filled my soul with a love I do not deserve. I don't need everyone to hear me say I'm a Christian But I need everyone to see Christ in me. I want to say thank you to every person at the Well for making it what it is!

St. Mark's is home! It's so refreshing to "do life" with this family of believers who want to grow…read morein their knowledge of God and faith in Jesus Christ. It's a place where more and more people of all ages are getting involved in serving people within the congregation, and those in need out in the community. We believe in 1 Peter 4:10: "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." It's amazing what God gives people a vision to create and how others join together to make it happen. You wouldn't think so, but somehow the combination of historic giant pipe organ hymns, and the energy from our pastoral staff preaching the word of God, ignites my soul more than when I attended a non-denominational church with a loud rock band. Liturgical and non-liturgical people feel welcome here. Together we are asking the Lord to give us the grace to make new disciples who will honor, glorify and serve Him. And that He will introduce us to new people who want to be part of the family of God at St. Mark's. It's a great place to call home.

I came here not to worship but to take part in what St Mark offers the community. On Monday…read moremornings, the church hosts with the Geneva Park District a dance exercise class for seniors. The building is well laid out for community outreach. The preschool was beginning at the end of the exercise class. St Mark has a great facility that it shares with the community.

I have attended other Churches over many decades, but it is very rare to find a Church so supportive of every individual spiritual need as well as one which takes an active role in supporting the many other needs of its surrounding community. Chapelstreet Church follows the teachings of the Bible, and does not allow itself to be swayed by current political/social excursions into the sort of fairytale imaginings that some may prefer rather than striving for the obedience to God exemplified by Jesus Christ.

Everyone was so friendly and greeted us. We felt at home. We live in CA so this is not a weekly church hole but if we lived in the area we'd come here.

We are Catholic, but are members of a different parish. On occasion we will attend Mass at St…read more Peter's usually on Saturday because of schedule commitments. The people who welcome us are most friendly and even hold the door open for us no matter how bad the weather. I don't know of any priest there known as Dennis, but the two guys that are at the parish are excellent homilists. We find their messages to be inspiring and easy to understand. We're happy with our home parish, but also feel fulfilled at St. Peter's.

The Experience Team made me feel seen and valued, and that sense of belonging continued through the New Members Class and involvement in Purpose Groups. One thing that stands out about Purpose City is that you don't have to be a member to feel like part of the family. Even before officially joining, I was able to connect with others, participate in groups, and experience authentic community. Although the church is not a small congregation, it has a remarkable way of making people feel loved, known, and welcomed. If you've never visited, I highly recommend attending at least once--you'll quickly understand why so many people call it home. The leadership has also been outstanding. They lead with humility, integrity, and a genuine heart for people. Most importantly, the teaching is firmly rooted in Scripture. The messages are biblically sound, clearly communicated, and presented in a way that helps you apply God's Word to your everyday life. Each week I leave encouraged, challenged, and equipped to grow in my faith. Purpose City Church has truly become my church family, and I am grateful for the impact it has had on my spiritual journey. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming community and solid, Bible-centered teaching.
