I have never met a more considerate bunch of people in my life and am so very thankful that my mom is in their care. It is such a scary thing to have to move your mom into an assisted living situation due to dementia but moving to Oasis made it all ok. Her room is filled with her things and feels like home and the staff. I know I said it before but they treat mom with respect and talk to her like a person and not a patient. If you are looking for a lovely place for your parent with dementia, Oasis should be top on your list. (Note, I live in BC, but my mom is in Evansville, IN)

When I come to visit, my shoes stick to the floor, my family member is soaking wet and/or poopy, food laying on the floor, just awful. Director of Nursing does not return calls when staff contact him/her about issues. Medications not given at all or not given on time. I know nursing homes are not for the faint of heart, but this place is really the stuff of nightmares. We only have him/her here because of location. She/he was admitted to a MUCH BETTER place, but the travel to visit would have been too much. Feds, take a look at this place!
