I'd like to start by saying Professor Chancy is an amazing teacher and person. She is warm-hearted,…read moreintellectual, motivating, capable, fair, honest, and also really funny. Not only does she personally lead some classes, she also runs the school. To do what she does, really takes skill and a vision. I fondly look back at the memories during my time in this program, this school is everything I was looking for in a RN program. Prior to Sunrise School, I had always wanted to see South Florida with my own eyes and enrolling in the school granted me my wish. My imagination of the Miami metropolitan area was always very much so a dreamy one, and graduating from the school was symbolic to my love of this unique part of America. Nothing but good memories of South Florida! I got my Florida license in August, and after only 10 days, the license was fully endorsed to California, much to my amazement by how fast the whole process was considering that it usually takes at least 1 month from what I heard. If you give it your all in this program, you will succeed. Don't make excuses for your shortcomings, take accountability for the grades you receive and just keep trying. Come to class with the right attitude and mindset because Professor Chancy really strives to ensure you understand the curriculum thus you will only pass if you match her efforts, it is only fair. RN school is NOT easy, especially if you're working full time. But again, it's all willpower that makes it possible. If I ever had to do nursing school again, it will definitely be Sunrise School of Nursing. Thank you so much for everything Professor Chancy, and all the teachers & staff that works there. Jean is also a very memorable friendly person! Wishing her and Sunrise School of Nursing the best, I hope the student enrollments keeps growing bigger and bigger!

This is honestly one of the worst LPN programs I've heard about. My friend is currently going…read morethrough this experience, and I cannot believe that more students haven't reported their concerns to the appropriate board. Before choosing an LPN program, please do your research, talk to current and former students, and carefully look into the school's policies, administration, clinical training, and how students are treated. Based on what my friend has experienced, I would strongly encourage prospective students to think twice and thoroughly investigate the program before enrolling.

I took the AED class first and learned so many things that I know have helped me with my events being more professional and efficient. I didn't realize some of the ways I was doing things before were slowing me down and not giving me that "professional edge" but after my class I know that's not the case anymore. Our 4 days was busy and hands on as we did everything and learned it all! I decided to take the floral class they offer too because it was a chance to go to Florida and it really peaked my interest and passion. Learning and working with fresh florals was new to me but it was such a great experience and I know this gives me so much more to offer my clients now! This class along with AED was the right decision for me because it's two skill sets I have now. I loved getting to meet the IWED crew at their home office too! I know the luxe masterclass is next for me because I keep seeing all the videos and I just need to experience it for myself. I have confidence in myself and my skills now to take it to the next level. Then ... balloons! I love being an IWED student!
