Our taxes were complicated because of selling our home and moving to a CCRC and medical bills. I went to Mr. Tabor and he put Mary Singer... or as I refer to her, Saint Mary... in charge of our account. Mary made sense out of the the piles of papers I brought her and knew exactly how to deal with our issues... and we received a refund. But more important, Mary was patient, knowledgeable, gave great advice and always answered email within 1 to 2 hours. I have suggested Mary to several of our friends and they all agree that Mary is the best!

(At the time he had 70+ units). The phrase, Slumlord comes to mind. My 1-bed apartment in New Providence had holes in the floor, broken glass in the windows, broken kitchen sink and infestation of fleas when I moved in. It took pestering him for 3 months before any fixes were made. He and his son showed up one day to look around, and I distinctly remember his son saying "that's fine" when I showed him the big hole in the kitchen floor! At one point during the winter months, the super smelled gas and called PSEG. Turned out the furnace and exhaust was filthy and clogs and PSEG cut the gas to the building until it was fixed. We had no heat for days and only after another tenant called the state after 3 days with no heat did he drop off space heaters for us to use and get someone in to clean the furnace. I moved out after 1 year. This is my personal experience and may not be what other tenants experienced.

As 1st time home buyers, we are a nervous wreck, so we were hoping to find an attorney who can…read moreassist us and at the same time treat us with professionalism and guide us through the process. Mr. Grey D'Alessandro seems to be good, but very aggressive in handing our case. At times, it felt like we had no choices and he was leading the charge. In my opinion I didn't appreciate the feeling especially since it made us more nervous rather than calm. Other than that, there were clerical mistakes on our paper work and this is what made us decide it wasn't in our best interest to move forward. Overall, we are not sure if it was just a bad day for Grey or if it was his normal behavior, but we opt to find a new lawyer who would guide us in a manner less "Mobster" like.

I just tried speaking to Jeff at this firm for some estate planning services for my mother. When I…read moretold him our situation I also mentioned we are price sensitive (which most people are in this economic environment.) As soon as I said that he responded that I should go elsewhere. He wouldn't even get into a more engaging discussion about the services he offers, how he can help assist us, etc. Instead, he claimed he was "like a doctor" who would diagnose our situation only after we came in and paid the $500 fee. I would not recommend this law firm- he is clearly just out to get fees, take advantage, etc. Last I checked doctors try to help people. I wouldn't go around claiming you are "like a doctor" Jeff.
