I expected a big more from Seda Vertis. My mom, aunts,…read morecousins and I spent almost 2 weeks here (yes 2 weeks lol) and yes, it's nice and cozy but it needs to an upgrade, a renovation... something. The room(s) we booked had about 2-3 phones in each room and most of the time, we weren't sure which phone was working! Yes, a good amount of outlets, but a majority of them were either not working or really loose. It's interesting that they don't already include a flat sheet when your bed is made. You have to request it. The AYCE breakfast was great but I honestly got tired of it lol They have a good selection and some days, the items do change. I do like their noodle station, taho station, champorado and pan de sal (although not the hot and fresh one you can get in a panaderia. I do like their location. Short walk to Ayala, Landmark, and Trinoma. A quick Grab ride to SM North, too. I didn't utilize their gym or pool area, but i did get a foot massage which was the best decision of my life after the amount of walking I've done during this trip. Thankfully, no bugs were found in any of our rooms. They do have a fridge but it's more like a cooler. So don't expect to chill anything for a long time. No microwave. I don't like how the side tables and counter space looks like there are many, many drawers, because you can't even open them! It's just for, I guess, "style." Staff's friendly. Very helpful and patience. Would I book here again? Maybe.

It is right across from Ayala Vertis Mall and a short jaunt away from the SM North and Trinoma malls. There's a restaurant on the 1st floor where they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a rooftop bar. The rooms are quite nice, in my opinion better than the one we stayed at in Seda BGC. Probably because this hotel is newer. Plenty of outlets to charge devices, comfortable bedding, and a great bathroom/shower. There's a pool on one of the rooftops that is nice but is in the shadow of a skyscraper that they're building next door, so there's not much of a view. It was still fairly cold out when we stayed there so we only used the pool briefly but I imagine it's fine during the summer months. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the size of the gym. Considering that it's a fairly small hotel they have a ton of cardio machines, weight machines, and even heavy weights. They also have a corner studio for yoga and such. Everything was clean and well maintained. All the staff of course was extremely friendly and accommodating! Definitely a great place to stay if you're looking for a hotel in Quezon City. Honestly as of right now it's probably the best hotel in the area.

It may look small when you first enter but the studio is actually big as you walk in and constantly find yourself in a new room/set every time. They have everything from a quaint cafe set, an old library, a garden, a field with a windmill, and many more. They also have loads of props for you to use in your photo or video shoot. These also help make the sets look more realistic. You can rent formal wear from them if needed as well. It's an indoor studio so light can be controlled more easily and therefore, produce the exact type of shots that you want. When we used Studio Namu we recorded a TV show but it is also commonly used for pre-nuptial shoots, debuts, and other special occasions.

Pre-nup shoots can be quite a handful. I haven't done any but hearing my friends who are going…read morethrough or have done it have said that finding a location can be quite tricky. When you are your hubby-to-be have different ideas on how to go about it, it can get downright stressful. He wants something to do with basketball but she wants sweet and romantic. He thinks a comedy sitcom-type is quirky and fun while she wants to do something from the 50's. If you want to marry your ideas then finding the right location is the first vital step to achieving this. But adding a production designer to create these locations for you would be way too costly. Well, don't fret, ladies and gents! I've got quite the solution for you - Studio Namu! Built to have a ton of background perfect for photo and video shoots, Studio Namu possibly has what you need to make your dream pre-nup a come true. I've gotten to shoot at this place for two of my segments previously and it literally was the first time I didn't need a PD. More than painted walls, it has the necessary furnishings to make everything look authentic. Apparently, the owner of Studio Namu is a Korean photographer who used to do studio photo shoots before he migrated in the Philippines. These themed studios are a big hit in Korea and he thought it would be great to introduce Filipinos to such. I've heard that quite a number of local lifestyle television shows, music videos and other audio-visual presentations have been shot here. I'm sure you wouldn't notice unless you've shot there a couple of times. Inside, you will find various types of themed corners! You can do an old-school, nostalgic shoot ala teleserye. They have a super adorable makeup station that you can shoot to do a "mock" fashion show. They've got a walk-in closet as a themed room as well. Mini-basketball court, pseudo-Church alter... you name it, they've probably got the corner for it! I believe pre-nup shoots have already been done here and you can rent the place for a few hours. Check it out and see if it's the place for you to do your next shoot!
