You can mix and match the offerings to suit your tastes. It's a really great way to try different wines even if you're not sure you want to buy an entire case. I highly recommend watching their social and signing up for their email to see what events are upcoming. They also create wine grab bags with the leftover case offerings. For $48 you get six bottles of wine that are all different styles in a nice wine tote bag. I love doing this for Christmas gifts. It's a wonderful deal. I mean, I was in my twenties so I didn't know liquor stores could be nice and have variety, but now I do, and boy was I glad when I walked in the doors and found out that this newly redone Plaza Liquor is NICE. Not only is the interior nice, the folks working are super friendly, and they have an incredible selection. I found some craft beers from STL that my husband hadn't been able to find in a long time at liquor stores closer to our house, and they of course carried a good variety of wine and liquor as well. They serve pretty great bar food and have a ton of taps to choose from. You'll find an array of Boulevard favorites and some experimental options which are fun to sample. They also usually have a free photobooth running and PLENTY of space. It's happened to me, but it's rare that it's so full you can't find a spot. They also have one of the best patios in KC IMO. The top floor is the rec deck which has games, and more space to hang out and enjoy a drink though a more limited bar. Downstairs if you navigate behind the gift shop you can find a more intimate bar where they deposit tour goers over the weekend. During the week they host trivia here and it's always a fun time. Overall you can't go wrong stopping in here for a pint. If you are visiting KC this is a must visit.
