She was very professional, ensured all of my questions were answered prior to my appointment, and she was very timely in getting back to me. It was nice to finally meet her on the day of my appointment. The MRI technician, Judith, was also very professional and kind during the day of my visit. I was nervous about my scan because I expected to be going in feet first instead of head first. Unfortunately, I had to go in head first (FYI, you can't go in feet first at that facility apparently), and my scan lasted approximately one hour. I told her I was nervous about this, and she ensured me that she would keep me comfortable. Judith agreed to talk to me and check in with me throughout the procedure, which she did. This made me feel so much more comfortable and at ease during the experience. She also made sure I was comfortable inside the machine, chatted with me about my dog, and kindly burned me a CD copy of my scan to keep on record. Overall, I highly recommend Charleston Imaging Center for any of your imaging needs. If I ever need imaging in the future, I will definitely go here. I came from 5 hours away in North Carolina. The drive was worth it, and I would do it again.

But it wasn't personal, she treated further incoming patients with her Stalin type welcome. After leaving said location, I realized I had not requested or received a doctors excuse for my child. I called back and requested one be faxed. She informed me my child had already came back in to retrieve one. Which was impossible, since my child was riding with me. She explained to me she was too busy with a patient to do it now. She would do it later. That's the same thing she told me when I entered the building for the first time. But it gets better. The fax never was sent. So once again I called in and was told it would be done by another person.It never happened. I called in again, and spoke with her once more, and she said she was busy with a patient and would call me back. I called once again and with a rasp voice she handed over the phone to a gentlemen. He tried to fax, technical errors first try. Which he called me. Technical errors I understand. I sent him a fax, and he received. So he re faxed and it was successful. The only issue here is one female desk receptionist with a bad attitude and a constant response of I'm busy with a patient, whether your their or on the phone. But in her defense, she doesn't just target one person. She's a joyful basket of sunshine for everyone. Not! Also I'm adding that the young gentlemen did call and confirm I received the fax, and he was courteous. His counterpart could learn a lot from him.

My nurse, Meredith, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during one of the scariest experiences of my life. She treated me with so much kindness, compassion, and respect. With everything happening in the world today, I was deeply touched by how welcoming and supportive the staff were. There was no discrimination or judgment--just genuine care and understanding. The hospital has a very diverse and professional team, and you can tell this place is women-led. Everything is spotless, well-organized, and filled with staff who clearly love what they do--and they love babies! One thing that stood out to me is that they never separate mothers from their babies (as long as the baby is healthy). You stay together for 48 hours until discharge, which is such a comforting policy. My baby is currently in the NICU, and they even have a program that allows mothers to stay on-site after discharge to be close to their babies. When I walked into the NICU nursery and saw a nurse gently holding and bottle-feeding my baby with such care, it brought me to tears. These women are angels in scrubs. There was no trace of bias or animosity--just pure compassion. As a mother of a baby of color, that meant the world to me. I will never go to another hospital. I'm forever grateful to the incredible women here for their care, wisdom, and humanity.

I was told by the horrible receptionist at Clermont Radiology that MUSC would be worse and cost more. She was WRONG. It was by far the best experience I had. The staff was professional, courteous, and friendly. I went in October, and I am so sorry it took me this long to write this review. To all the staff, keep on doing what you are doing. You all are awesome!

This is the same as the one Downtown Charleston but much more convenient because parking for…read moreRadiology patients is right next to the main door, no walking, no parking ticket fee. They give you a passport with a bar code to check in so during the course of the treatment all you do is scan the pass and the personnel knows you are in the building so the process starts right away. Treatment is scheduled for the same time every day for the entire length of the process. Treatment itself takes a few minutes but the amount of radiation you get is far greater than that at the dentist so time spent at this facility is only about 15 minutes and you are on your way. Like all the other MUSC facilities that are directly related to cancer the personnel working here have an incredible positive attitude and the care and compassion they shine on you make the process go smoothly. Will be coming here daily for wife's treatment for the next few weeks

I came here for my first COVID-19 vaccine, and MUSC has the process down. Signs tell you where to…read morego, and the desk is staffed that you don't have to wait to check in. I arrived to my 2:40 PM appointment about five minutes early. As soon as I checked in at the desk, the receptionist directed me into an exam room to get my shot. The nurse, Norine, was upbeat and positive. She asked a few questions- the usual consent to receive the vaccine, and that I had not tested positive for COVID recently or received antibody treatments. Norine said she'd been giving COVID-19 vaccines every day since February, and she was a pro. I barely felt the needle. My second appointment is in three weeks, as I got the Pfizer vaccine. I waited for 15 minutes before leaving, which is standard for COVID-19 shots. There are no magazines in the waiting room, so if you don't want to be on your phone, take a magazine or book. Parking is free in the large lot, and I only spent about 20 minutes total (shot + wait) here. The one side effect I experienced was soreness at the injection site, for about a day. The only thing that could've improved my experience would be a fun band-aid or a sticker, but alas, I got a shot of hope for returning to normal in the future.
