Should have known when we called on Sunday to set a tee time on Labor Day and we had no problem…read morethat the course was not popular. The course is in terrible shape. The greens crunched under our feet, and two twosomes in front of us practiced bad course etiquette with super slow play. We could not get any rhythm going because we had to wait ten minutes after each hole to play again. The 'pro' shop is just a dumpy shop/ nothing we wanted. Very poorly managed course. It's more expensive than the last course we played, and it was decidedly not worth it. We will not go back. The city is trying to buy the course and I hope they do.

The owner was demeaning, degrading, and made myself and our party as a whole feel unwelcome and rushed. I've never played in this area before so wasn't sure what to expect, but the course was immaculately maintained and in great condition (greens were fast, but that's no real surprise). The staff were all fantastic giving us the lay of the land, loading our bags and chatting over the course of the day. We had weekday rates, but compared to similar courses with the same price, they really set themselves apart. There are a lot of homes in play on the course, so worth being careful, but the community is beautiful so you get some eye-candy along the way.

Nice place for local course. Here are reasons why this place is only a 3 and not a 4. The pro shop attendant was just very ......blah. Didn't make us feel welcomed. Didn't try to advertise the course. Just took our money and that's it. I'm sure this place has local support but if you want people to come back then the staff should be congenial with the public. Next after 9 holes we are trying to get to 10 and the local Friday night scramble group has all exits and entrances blocked with their carts We had to ask them to move a couple if carts so we could get through which seemed to put them out. So in conclusion. I would play here again but don't expect much from pro shop but golf course is fun.

I have never had an issue whatsoever with the staff. Mary, the owner, is the sweetest lady that takes time to help my kids with their swing and offer some feedback to help them better their game. We just went there today and the shape of the course was great. You can't beat the price either with 9 holes for $8 or play the course twice (18 holes) for $12. As far as the Clubhouse goes, it's not a restaurant with a bar, you simply walk in, get a warm welcome from Mary and then tee off. It's not Valhalla. As far as the golf carts, it's a par 3 course. It's not that bad to walk by any means. I rarely see anyone use a golf cart there outside of the staff.
