It's an old family true local yocal bakery store in an area where a lot of new age/hip cafes are located. Lovely lady behind the counter is the original owners daughter, who didn't mind me bringing my coffee from another establish to eat my fruity slice. I gave it 3 stars for service, but the choices are definitely your old Aussie favorites; lammies, jam and cream donuts, vanilla slices, meat pies, custard tarts. I kind of had an expectation with the name to find some euro treats. If your up for a carb and sugar load with an average taste, this is your spot. There are some huge freshly baked fruit and savory pies, cool. It's open early so I would say everything is freshly made. Definitely will hit this place up when I'm in the mood for my average Aussie nom. I definitely recommend hitting this place up, they serve coffee, they're Italian, it's got to better than the crap at TriBeca across the street. Just a note paying for anything under $10 via card has a .20 surcharge. read more
