I usually don't like leaving any bad reviews. BUT it's needed bc due to false advertising on the emails they send out to get people to sign up. Came inside the club after signing up today and for signing up we will be giving a shirt and get here to the gym and they mentioned it's only if you purchase a personal trainer. Well on the email doesn't say anything about purchasing a trainer. Also some employees are rude. From the looks of the reviews I've read on here. You guys are used to giving false advertisements and also seems the general manager don't give a shit. I guess I'll have to take all of this to corporate

E-mail from GM denying the "100% Guarantee 30-day Money Back" offer.

Unless we can come to a proper resolution. I will be reporting Gold's Gym to the FTC, State Attorney General, and CFPB for deceptive business practices through false advertisement. A "100% guarantee 30-day money back" is offered on the website! Upon speaking to the General Manager, Daveon Woods, at the Victoria Gardens location. I was told this guarantee does not exist, despite clear evidence from their own site. This is misleading to customers and unacceptable. https://join.goldsgymsocal.com/victoria-gardens/

ABC Financial made a mistake and this is the bill I was sent 3 months after I cancelled my account
Josh S.

When you decide to cancel your membership call 888-827-9262 (ABC FINANCIAL), then call the gym to make your last payment. When Golds Gym employee asks you for reference number ignore them that is internal, ABC will not give you a reference or cancellation #. If you don't do this your bill will keep adding up even if ABC makes a mistake. You will pay for it. Don't buy training, no refunds, no credits. Just search YouTube and teach yourself. Golds Gym makes it very difficult to cancel a membership, will not surprise me to hear they have a class action lawsuit in the next couple years. People that work there do their best, but RSG Group has set it up to prevent the staff from helping you do anything but pay money.

My workout routine usually consists of a treadmill run and then strength training and stretching. The bonus is the infrared sauna. The facility is clean and equipment is in working condition.

Every man wants to be a macho, macho man! To have that kind of body that's always in demand! Jogging in the mornings, Go Man Go! Workouts in this health spa, muscles grow. Nothing so fancy or cute about this gym just straight free weights and machines to get you were you need to be. They do have some massage chairs on the second floor but that's about it. Don't get me wrong about the gym it is state of the art when it comes down to the fact it has advanced equipment but it has other issues. It's located next to the outdoor promenade and the parking situation can be challenging unless you're an early bird and come Hella early or late at night. In between those times it's just so jam packed and workouts take longer but if you don't mind being there for a couple of hours then cool. The staff are always friendly and encouraging and it's a great place to workout at knowing the good time frames. It's a strong 3 1/2 stars and that's my take, Peace...

Grand Opening today. First Visit. REVIEW..based on " first impressions " Will edit review as permitted by time and soon to be traffic. This location was new and very well set up with ample space throughout the facility. The staff was very welcome and accommodating. The gym was fully staffed with employees, opening day so I was not surprised. At the time I visited, early evening, it was not too crowded. I'm sure over time, considering the location, it will get full or crowded in time. Overall, get in now or try a one day pass! Again, I am sure this facility will get crowded, all imho Good for the a local Business and a world renowned gym brand.."Arnold " made famous So YES.. " I'LL BE BACK " Thank You for reading

There are plenty of machines and weights of all sorts. I was able to come in and get a good workout without having to wait too long.

Good equipment and decently clean. It does stay fairly packed all day so you may have to wait for a spot to clear up but plenty of options.

They brighten the room and actually engage with the older kids, my girls specifically go towards the end of the week when we can find those 2 girls. The art at the entrance is my personal favorite, so inviting, with the kids name, it really stands out and makes my girls and other kids I hope feel welcome. Love how they have games going on and music to keep the mood up! Lately the kids club has been under construction, which looks bad on the grass area, not to mention it's been 3 weeks it's been overheating in there due to AC not working, poor kiddos and poor girls working shifts! Chuze do better and treat them better! Why not close down to figure it out. Besides those points, this Kids club is very bright, my girls say it's always clean in there and very inviting. I appreciate how the girls engage with them, my kids say they always ask how's school? How are you? , it makes me feel good about dropping them off while I work out. I also talked to the supervisor in there and she is lovely, great kids club, great space and very beautiful art around, makes the place look nice! Thank you Kids club girls!

I've been a member at this Chuze Fitness location since they first opened in Rancho Cucamonga, and…read moreoverall I really do like the gym. That's also why some of the changes over the years have been disappointing. When this location originally opened, one of the BIG reasons I signed up was the 24-hour access. Obviously COVID changed everything for a while, but years later, I'm disappointed that the gym never returned to the hours it had when I originally became a member. With the more limited hours, it also feels like everyone is trying to squeeze their workouts into the same windows, and the gym can get ridiculously crowded. I understand gyms need memberships to operate, but at some point I think there needs to be more consideration for capacity. There are times when it feels like there are simply too many memberships for the amount of equipment and space available. It can make getting a normal workout in frustrating. Cleanliness is hit or miss. The employees are okay overall, although the friendliness at the front desk can be inconsistent. Sometimes you'll get a hello or goodbye when walking in and out, other times not so much. There are still plenty of things I genuinely enjoy here. I LOVE having access to the sauna and steam room, and when the gym isn't packed, I really enjoy working out here. I've stuck with this location since the beginning because I like Chuze. I just wish some of what made this gym so great when it first opened--especially the extended hours--would come back. With better hours and some attention to overcrowding, this could easily be one of my favorite gyms again.

I came here with some friends and was considering getting a day pass, but I was quoted a pretty…read moreridiculous price of around $40 to $50. That's definitely not something I've ever been quoted to pay, especially since I've been to the Fullerton location before and had a different experience. Since I had never used the 7 day guest pass, I asked about it, but they initially told me I couldn't use it and were extremely pushy about getting me to sign up for a membership instead. I kept declining a membership commitment and eventually they told me my 7 day guest pass went through and I was able to use the gym. I'll give 3 stars for the facility, but I'm taking off 2 stars because of the customer service and the way the situation was handled.

Pros and Cons to follow. There are a lot of both, and right now the Cons are coming out on top…read more When I started back in September, I would have given a 4 start rating. This really should be a 1 star, but I want to be fair and see if EOS can remedy the leak issue any time soon. If so, I would bump this to a 3. PROS: (there are more than these, but these are the items that made it worth joining vs. other gyms or just training at home) Cheap -8 squat racks/olympic lifting platforms with plenty of bumper plates -2 Concept 2ski ergs (repaired quickly when broken) -3 Concept 2 rowers (repaired quickly when broken) -3 Assault Air Runners (Many times one of the monitors is down, but not a lot of people use these so there's typically at least one in working order that is available) -1 Assault Bike (been broken for 9 weeks; obviously not repaired quickly when broken) -Tons of dumbbells -Decent assortment of kettlebells -Love the turf training area with plyo boxes and the sled -Sauna and steamroom -Very crowded (no one's fault, and this is also a good thing because people are getting out and training!) CONS: -The Assault Bike has been broken since late April. So actually closer to 11 weeks. At this point, just move it off the floor if it's not going to be fixed. -There are ongoing, unresolved leaks in room with the squat racks/lifting platforms (see photos). I didn't start to really pay attention to this until around March, just because it would be frustrating when people are waiting to use a rack and one or more of them would be closed off with signs and a bucket. But there have been ongoing leaks since FEBRUARY AT LEAST. Then it started to be every single day. At this point we are not even bothering to put the "CAUTION WET FLOOR" away (when a spot isn't actively leaking, the signs are folded up and leaned against the wall). One of the lifting platforms has what looks like wood rot where one of the leaks is. I originally thought it might be condensation, but I realized that this area is directly below the lockerooms, showers, steam room, etc. Steam room was also out of order last I checked. I would not be surprised if there is currently a mold issue, and if there isn't, it's a matter of time. The facility looks beautiful from the outside, and is generally nice on the inside. From walking by, you would never know that one of the rooms has been leaking for months. -Finding matching kettlebells is often like looking for one of a pair of socks. There are only single pairs in many of the weight denominations, and as long as you are willing to hunt upstairs, downstairs, in the squat rack area, and outside in "The Backyard," you can usually find the one you're looking for. Not always, but usually. -Dumbbells and DBalls are scattered everywhere throughout the facility. Other than creating a mess this is not a huge deal because there are SO MANY dumbbells here and I only use the 20lb. Dball. Demonstrates a lack of respect for the facility though. I realize it doesn't take many people to mess this up, but it also doesn't take many people remedy this. I have respectfully reported these issues (with the exception of dumbbells being everywhere) to the front desk on several occasions, and I welcome the opportunity to speak with an operations manager.

Overall, I have a pretty mixed experience with this LA Fitness. There are some things I like about…read morethe gym, but there are also a few things that can be frustrating. The gym has a good amount of equipment and plenty of space to get a decent workout in. I also like that there are different areas of the gym depending on what kind of workout you're doing, so I can usually find what I need. The biggest issue for me, though, is the frequent power outages. This has happened multiple times, and when the power goes out, it can really interrupt my workout and sometimes forces me to cut my workout short altogether. It's especially frustrating when you've already planned out your workout and then have to leave because certain equipment or parts of the facility aren't usable. I think this location has potential and can be a good gym overall, but the power outage issue has definitely affected my experience. Hopefully it's something they're able to resolve because otherwise I'd have a lot more positive things to say about this location.

I told him on the way out see you tomorrow since I had a 3 day pass and this is the proof in my email. Yearly price was around 550$ which is significantly more than 24 but it's a nice gym, he stated before the pass was over there's a deal that's 400+ a year with no annual fee. I walked in right now and he refused to allow me entry saying he couldn't give me a 3 day pass, he allowed me to go in after I showed him this, Brendan just stated to me that he said "see you tomorrow" as he thought I was gonna sign up which I never committed too before finishing the three days pass. All in all it's a very nice gym, and I understand he wants his commission, but how many people has he turned away with a 3 day pass? If you look thru the comments I see other comments that say he's turned them away from the their 3 day pass as well, which sadly he's making it look like LA Fitness is false advertising on their website that you can get a 3 day try out, but he's turning people away. In my years of training Muay Thai in different Dojos, and then going to different gyms in the years from LA, to 24, to Chuze I gotta say Brendan seems to be the worse example representing a brand in gym leadership. Honestly seems like he wants to strong arm you to sign up or leave right then and there.

Terrible experience at this neglected gym!…read more I joined this gym on the beginning of this month (April ) and got my membership canceled by the owner 12 days later which I only used the facility 3 days to workout. I have multiple gym memberships from commercial to private gyms and this was a first. I always clean and unload the machines after each use and this day was not a different day. I was approached by the manager of the gym which is the owners brother in a disrespectful way, telling me to rerack the weights from previous machine which I clearly unload the machine, but the gym does lack on weights stations to unload to it, so I left on the side of the machine organized which he told me to put where I got them from, which was from walking around the gym grabbing from machine to machine and I told him that it doesn't make any sense when they lack on stations to drop the weights on it. Although I went back and did what he said. I pay to go there not to work there. 2 minutes later as you see the screenshot, the owner Mario texted me saying it is courtesy but them is rules which is not on the contract anyway. So they canceled my membership when I didn't even left the machines loaded or weights on the floor. Unfortunately this was a act of discrimination from the manager to me as a person as there was one other dude earlier time leaving all weights on the machines and nothing was said. I was going to cancel the membership on Friday due to this gym been neglected for long time. Machines are mostly ripped off , tapped or some broken. Machines are on top of each others or next to the walls with wires or ladders next to or impossible to load them, so many hazards. Bathrooms are dirty and trash all over the place most the time and barely anyone at the gym. Men's locker room is a mini one dirty with broken toilet and main door doesn't even fully close. What you see on IG are all filters and angles, they clearly misleading people, I joined online on their website from social media, as if I add gone see it before in person I wouldn't ever join it.

The layout is a little weird and can feel overcrowded at times but I feel the negative comments on that are a little over blown. The music can also be too loud on some days, to the point where you can't even hear your own music with headphones on but I do appreciate the fact that customers are allowed access to the aux. Another gripe I had, which was a big one considering how much monthly you were paying was that several machines would be out of order on a consistent basis especially in the cardio department, as well as a urinal in the men's restroom. It's been a few months since the last time I was there, so I don't know if that's been resolved by now or not. Owner is a really cool guy and was very responsive to all my inquiries and messages. Main reason I'm not going here anymore is because of a one-off, petty dispute my friend had that was both initiated and escalated by a trainer working there but outside of that, it's arguably the best gym in the ie.
