While intimidating at 120 lbs when full grown, he captured the hearts of everyone who came to know him. My favorite story is when we were taking a walk in Washington DC along the Mall, when a little girl walked up behind him, and her mother asked if it was okay if she pet him. We had no hesitation about allowing it, as he was so gentle and had been raised in a household with my 4 kids. She pulled a tuft of shedding hair from his backside, looked at it in surprise, and then tried to put it back on him. He was healthy most of his life, with no real problems. But he had to be put down in 2019 due to cancer. I'm going back to this business now for my second shepherd, even though I now live multiple hundreds of miles away. That is how much I trust these people and their animals.

I received excellent customer service from joe and Laurie! They answered all of my questions and I'm confident that my puppy is not only cute but healthy. I can't wait to see the litter of chocolate labs to choose one!

I called Peek A Boo Kennels and made an appointment. The owners were very gracious and knowledgeable, and had just the puppy I was looking for, a miniature poodle. All of their puppies were healthy and clean, and their kennel was very clean. While I waited for my puppy to be old enough to leave the kennel, I visited her every week, and the owners started calling her the name I picked out, so that she would know her name. The owners sent home a bag of "goodies" so that my puppy would feel at home in her new home. Buying my little girl at Peek A Boo Kennel was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

I'm honored to be the first person to review Dee Ganley for her dog training skills. In a word,…read moreshe is awesome. Pros: reasonably priced classes, convenient locations and times, and let's not forget, Dee herself. She is a wealth of knowledge; she is calm, confident, good-humored, knowledgeable, patient, and accessible to her students. When you take her class, you get a dog training manual which is really all you need from a training manual. Also, her class incorporates real-life lessons that are practical for life outside the classroom. I'm almost done with her adolescent level 1 class and I couldn't be happier. We're going to take her adolescent level 2 class. Cons: NONE. Dee is clearly the local dog expert; it shows and her reputation is more than deserved.

We contacted her for help with the relationship between our 7 yr old border collie/ cattle dog/ etc mix and our 1 1/2 chocolate lab who joined our family a few months ago. Dee's knowledge of behavior and personalities of the breeds and dogs in general was so helpful and so right on! After only a few minutes of having her in our home and observing the dogs and us she was spot on with where our challenges are. She had easy to incorporate behaviors for us to require and reinforce with our dogs to help the areas in need. The dogs will be so much happier and so will we! We are so looking forward to implementing her recommendations. She is our hero!
