I'm (sadly) old enough to remember this place opening back in the early 80s, and all the complaining that went on amongst the locals that such a place would come to a sleepy backwater like Langold, where men were men and women did as they were told.
However, it quickly found its market, and nearly 30 years later, its still there, and still run by the same family. Its also - and always has been - very good value for money, and the food is very nice, certainly better than any of the other local takeaway places.
As with most Chinese takeaways, most of the food on sale can be found in most other Chinese takeaways, so while they dont tend to offer anything out of the ordinary, what they do sell is tasty, hot and fresh, and it never takes very long for your order to be ready.
As well as the Chinese selections, theres also a limited range of english food (including the old favourite - chips) to choose from. On the whole, a very good takeaway. read more
