I accepted her offer as i was so pleased i thought i would have had to pay so much more nice when you come out of a shop with a bargain, but if the sal assistant hadnt explained to methe offer i wouldnt have known about it so i was a very pleased customer.

Samuel, it was fine for 2 years,i returned it to them to have…read morethe battery replaced, about 6 months later it stopped and a brown stain appeared on the dial,i returned it to samuels, the battery had leaked and the watch was irreparable, they said there was nothing they could do. I contacted my insurer and they sent a credit card to spend at samuels,they had no watches simlar so i bought my partner new matching engagement and eternity rings,they measured her finger and had to order them as they didn't have her size in stock,when they arrived they were a size too small so they ordered bigger ones,we got the eternity ring but had to wait for the engagement ring,we waited and they said they couldn't get the engagement ring and they had nothing like it and would give us a refund,(a samuels voucher). I said okay we will change for another different matching pair of rings. We were told that because we had the eternity ring more than thirty days we couldn't return it. After a row they agreed to try to get a ring from another store,which they did. the centre stone fell out,we returned it and they had it analysed which showed there was a fault in the gold. They were unable to find a replacement and all they could offer was the samuels voucher again. They were unable to give me cash so that we could shop elsewhere, i managed to get a matching ring from another shop, but i have to find something at samuels that is unlikely to fall apart so i can spend my voucher

They also do little ornaments and statuettes which I usually covet silently through the glass display cabinets!

The worst customer service experience I have ever had…read more intimidating and stuck up staff who stand around and made me wait before they helped me. The prices are inflated by 20% and even when I asked for a discount it was still cheaper in Goldsmiths, Boodles and other jewellers. The quality of the watch was poor and full of scratches and not brand new as stipulated. As well as this I heard 2 other customers complaining about their poor quality jewellery and asking for repairs. My advise is to SHOP ELSEWHERE - I went to Goldsmiths and Boodles and had a wonderful shopping experience and found the best priced watch of my dreams with far nicer sales people and atmosphere.

We were greeted with a glass of champaign each and were guided through the beautiful selection of rings available. In the end, we ended up buying them there and then! They were able to answer every question and concern we had and there was no problem too big or too small that they couldn't help with. An overall fantastic service.

This is a very small shop - but has a lot of stock. Some things are quite expensive - others are…read morenot. I usually come here for repairs. Their repair charges are very reasonable. I have had watches fixed - usually within the week. They also stretch rings or put a clip in if they are too big. They fix neck chains very well - sometimes while you wait if it is only a small job. They will also give advice. Once I was considering getting an old ring polished up - but when they looked at it they told me the stone was only glass. What poor ancestors I had! But fair play they did tell me. Most people I know take their jewellery here for repair - they must be cheaper than the big jewellery shops.

When I took my watch back about a year later as it had stopped, again the member of staff that served me was understanding and friendly. The prices are quite reasonable and overall, I think it is a great jewelery shop!
