Ms. Skyler is a sweet teacher for the younger kids, Ms. Jess has been a wonderful teachers when our baby was in the twos room, Ms. Kita and Ms. Naya are great at creating routines and structure in the older room. Ms. Salomie and Ms. Wanda are the sweetest and most welcoming teachers. Megan has been a shining beacon in gaining insight on what management is working on and bridging any gaps between parents and staff. The teachers are all very sweet, positive attitudes and try their best to keep children engaged and progressing. They do activities, teach children to use the potty, teach cleaning up after meals, washing hands, taking turns in play, singing and dancing. Our son, like most children I imagine, goes through tough days and good days but I think everyone there truly wants the kids to thrive and so we work as a team to communicate and keep it positive. No system is perfect but communication and live camera access are wonderful things that ensure the children are priority. We even met parents that are now friends of ours and we meet outside of school to have the kids all play. My only critique on the structure is I wish the teachers had more support on cleaning. They do a great job but I think corporate should allocate funds for raises for all staff and for a floater to come in to help tidy so we get more fun time for the kids.

I have never had any issues with this ever before at his previous daycare. Well, his second day back he ended up getting a cut and a black eye basically from "falling" again. I decided to take that day off to watch the cameras to see if they were doing their jobs. I sat and sat and watched the camera. The teacher was grabbing the children(s) arms above the wrist as well as the upper arm and pulling them to sit down. I watch many times the teacher(s) not paying attention and I watched a younger child laying on the floor and then another little girl stomping as hard as she could on his hands, back, and stomach. If that were my son I would have drove down in a heartbeat. I was so excited to enroll him in this daycare however THIS location IS NOT IT. Those two days he was there my child came back home starving literally crying because he was so hungry and thirsty and every time I even drove in the parking lot he would start screaming and crying and saying no no no... I have never ever had any issues like this before. On top of that him being in there 2 days I still paid his daycare fee for the two weeks which is above 300 dollars and they did not offer any composition after stating to me that they would work with me while I got my ELC transferred. Not saying that I need it, but it would have been nice of them to accommodate due to everything that happened. Please mommy's be cautious.

Trying hard to put my thoughts of this place into words. I read these reviews here and on other…read morepages. I am a parent who loves my kids and wants only the best for them. All parents want this for their children. I moved to this area about 3 months ago. I looked for a small local school for my children. I prefer a center of faith. I looked at Northland and willow creek and another school before I went to community alliance. I noticed there were mixed reviews, but I figured you can't really please everybody all the time, so I thought I would give it a try myself just to see what I thought. Even though I am definitely not some type of professional reviewer I thought maybe an honest review with it will give people a chance to make up their own minds. I wrote down my thoughts when I got to my car. Now I did go back later in the day with my papers to intend to enroll but I just couldn't do it. Here is why. - I love that it's part of a church! - I love that it's small and kind of private and not really super close to a major road -I thought the redhead director was really pretty and seemed really nurturing (maybe a little nervous too) so was shocked she's not a teacher! -small ratios for the children -the church attached seems to do a lot of community outreach! -the preschool VPK classroom was very clean! I am sad to say that this is where the positives (for me) ended. -the gate you walk through to go in doesn't seem safe. It just flips and unlocks itself and it seems like ANY one or any child could get in or out! -there is a strange old building to the right that has green all over it and SMELLS like mold and mildew. That was definitely not good -the playground has broken steps and run down toys on it. Definitely doe not have much for the kids to play with at all! Looks like old swings and rotting wood? -inside was kind of sad. It looked very old and outdated. Paint faded or peeling, I'm not sure. LOTS of water stains on the ceiling!!! It IMMEDIATELY smelled like poop diapers when I walked in and then the next smell was mildew followed by maybe bleach that seemed like it was covering the smell a bit. The carpet looks older but not HORRIBLE. The tile in the floors looks old and worn but but unsafe. Maybe painful if the children fall though. Most classrooms were messy, and I did account that children play in them. There was just clutter in many places. I did ring a doorbell to get in but it didn't seem to work and the door looked heavy and I worry about fingers being caught in it. I saw at least one baby gate and I was just told by a school I toured that baby gates are prohibited in schools, and I am not a fan of them! The school info I found on the DCF site said that the school had some type of mark against it for a lack of supervision of children, and that was fairly recent, and the school can house about 40 or so children, however, they only had about half of that? Why? And why so many teachers with so few children. It just seemed a bit odd. I did still consider placing my children there until I found something cleaner so I filled out the papers with the intent to bring them back but when I came back, I went to the playground first. I heard children and wanted to see teacher interactions. EVERY SINGLE TEACHER was sitting down except one who was pushing some little ones. And EVERY teacher has their PHONES IN THEIR HANDS!!!! How is this safe? No one was watching the kids except the one pushing the swings! I actually took pictures of what I saw! And I took pictures when I stepped onto the play place to look for the director since no one answered the door. I did ask for names. There is a capri who just texted or was on her phone the whole time I was there, and these two young girls at the table ignoring the kids and playing on phones. One of them told a kid to shake it off when she got hurt! I videos it! The young girls are Cattie? Cait? Katie? Something like that and danielle. The Capri lady just yelled at kids or told them to go play when they wanted to swing!! I am disappointed. A lot. When I went to see the director again, she was even on her phone! I just like this isn't safe. I don't feel like the kids are being watched. Maybe they're loved but this place isn't clean and DEFINITELY doesn't seem safe. This is why I won't ever put my children here and I hope this helps parents who need guidance!!

There's mold and mildew inside the building, the carpet is easily 30 years old, and has to be shampooed almost every other night, to prevent people from smelling the mold and mildew inside of it. She does not care about your well being. I have some health issues and have documentation of being out of work, and even with that documentation she fired me. She is very rude and does not care about anything or anyone, you can't even call out without having a very very good reason and even at that she still doesn't let you call out. She picks favorites, and those favorites get to do what they want when they want.
