The seller refused to make any repairs and informed me they were keeping my deposit. I went on yelp and found Gary. I informed Gary of my situation and he stated they cannot keep your deposit. I was a little hesitant to believe him because the contract stated that if I pulled out of the escrow after contingencies were removed I would lose my deposit. Gary gathered the facts wrote a very direct letter to the listing broker who had twice refused to give back our deposit. Once the listing broker received his letter she immediately returned our full deposit with no deductions for escrow charges whatsoever that day.
