Trusting the nursing care with my mom was made extremely welcoming and peaceful. The nurses were transparent with my mom's care. In the early hours when my mom passed the nurses were so caring and loving towards my mom. The facility is clean. No strong chemical or body odors. The PA did not even order any x-rays or no CT. I had a bleed on the brain. Do not ever visit this hospital if you try to get any type of educated help, this is a backwater hospital, this is where they send all in. They can't get any other place.

They are giving end-of-life patients Tylenol for their pain instead of morphine. It happened to our family member, a U. S. Air Force veteran, and it was nothing short of traumatizing to have to see him suffering like this. We were lucky enough to have been able to get him out of there as soon as we noticed the horrible neglect. He died peacefully and pain free at home with the help of home health care and a hospice nurse. Now Sienna Extended Care is dragging their feet to refund us the money for almost three months of pre-paid care fees ($18,000) which they insisted on having paid to them before they would even see the patient. We are grieving over the fact that we wish we had known earlier and didn't rely on "professionals" who told us that this was a reputable facility. Please do your research before entrusting your vulnerable loved ones to just anyone.

The staff are professionals and are making their best efforts to ensure patients receive good care. The admin staff goes above and beyond to ensure engaging activities such as bingo, dominos, playing cards, painting fingernails, and a variety of other games and activities. The winners get prizes too! Like chocolate bars, soft drinks, little stuffed toys, etc. They also have bible studies and occasional live entertainment. Your loved one will be helped to get dressed daily unless they feel unwell. And the residents are assisted in getting to the dining room at meal times. The food is generally pretty good. They also serve snacks in the afternoon such as ice cream sundaes. There is also a beauty shop in the building. They have dedicated laundry staff, cleaning staff, and maintenance personnel. The building is older but the things that really matter--excellent care for your loved ones is as good as it gets! My mom has been here for 21 months and she is thriving! And she is 99!! I recommend Wolfe as possibly the best LTC facility in Oklahoma. If you have a family member that could need LTC, I highly recommend you get their name on the waiting list. Before my mom entered Wolf, she was in a facility in NW OKC named Tuscany Village. That place was the opposite of Wolf and it is pretty much a nightmare. Stay away from there and read the YELP reviews on Tuscany.
