I cannot begin to sum up how perfect Gerry and Golden Note made our wedding day. From the beautifully delivered ceremony music, to the cocktail hour through the reception, Gerry gave us a night we will never forget. Starting with a custom song switch to surprise my father and high energy keeping our guests (and bride and groom!) on the floor all night, the lights, dancing on the clouds and cold sparkling fountains, we felt like something out of a movie. Thank you so much for not only understanding what we were looking for, but also for knowing what we couldn't even communicate and giving us the most memorable and magical night. The open air Photo Booth had everyone entertained and the photos we will treasure forever. I can't recommend Golden Note enough. i used these guys for my wedding recently and they were the ONLY vendors i dealt with that did not meet up anywhere CLOSE to my expectations. i like to think that i was a pretty laid back bride. at the consultation our dj was great and easy to get along with so we were really looking forward to working with him. i provided him with a list of MUST PLAY songs and we went over the whole night in details that i hadnt even thought of myself. he made some really great suggestions and wrote everything down along the way. now fast forward to the day of: he was a mess. he had no idea about the order of people entering the reception hall and i had to re-group everybody myself. he didnt play a LOT of the songs we agreed to. he made MAJOR errors in almost all those little details that he himself had suggested. and when guests requested certain songs he refused to play them unless they begged repeatedly - and these were songs that were already on my MUST PLAY list. my husband went up to him several times during the wedding because he wasn't playing music that we had agreed to. HE WAS AWFUL. never rude but just so incompetent. if hadnt been for golden note, my wedding would have been perfect. booooo!!!!! read more

My fiance and I saw Golden Note perform two live showcases at bridal expos (Casa Bianca and the Bethwood). Both times they were fun, lively, and very personable. We met with Jillian at their office and had such a great time we ended up talking for over 2 hours! She was very accommodating and informative and was never pushy or overbearing. After the Bethwood bridal showcase we even went up the MCs and spoke with Mario to get a feel for him before we decided which one to go with. These are the THE ones you want to do your event! I have worked with this company for at least 11 years doing an annual event for my organization in New Jersey. They manage to get the most reluctant people involved thereby making the entire event a huge success. They are easy to work for, have great suggestions, and think of things that no one else has. We have done theme parties, trivia contests, and other specific requests and we have NEVER been disappointed! When it came time to pick the music for my wedding the choice was obvious. There was no thought as to looking at anyone else but Golden Note. My wedding went without a hitch! They MC'd the event to make sure that things were moving but not rushed, guests could talk at their tables with out screaming so no one lost a voice at the end of the evening. I was able to relax and everyone had a great time. I received many compliments from my guests who told me they had never been to a wedding where the DJ's were as good as mine. The ENTIRE staff at Golden Note from the support staff, the event staff, and of course the head of it all Gerry, are by far the best in the business! After all these years, they are a part of the family! I know people who have hired them to do events & weddings across state lines and never regretting it. How the unfavorable review ended up here I have no idea. Working with them for over 11 years I have found them to be nothing but professional, classy, dependable and trustworthy.
