This is an excellent place! They have a decent selection and provide a menu, so you can decide what you want while comparing items side by side. The value is impressive, and you get quite a bit of stuff for the price. Interestingly, the first time we came here, the service was terrible. The guy acted like he got chewed out by his manager--grumpy, impatient, and like he'd rather be anywhere else than there. The woman, though, was wonderful! She was upbeat, fun, engaging, and helpful! I'll be back here, but I'll only be back if the woman is working. read more

My mother and I were in town for the afternoon and Ms Savannah greeted us upon arrival. She was SO helpful and so sweet and I really appreciate her patience and advice during our visit!! 10/10 recommend. Thank you Savannah!!! read more

I was in town from Texas and originally went to Billo cause it was closer to where i was staying and was so disappointed in the customer service that i left and went to golden leaf where i was greeted by two absolute homies how hooked up an oz for $100 . Price was amazing, bud amazing, customer service amazing read more

So much of the experience of shopping at Golden Leaf was first rate. They picked us up from our ski condo and gave us a ride to the store. We purchased some cartridges which were good and well priced. They had a lovely pack of 7 little .5 gram pre-rolls in a nicely sealed box with a lighter. These, unfortunately were terrible. The joints were all powder and regardless of how you tried to break it up, it would not burn well. It was a wasted $45. There aren't a lot of store choices in Steamboat, but jf you find yourself going to Golden Leaf, I would avoid the horrible pre-rolls. read more

This is the place that the locals go to. The cure is always on point, with a variety of great strains, and their concentrate game is on par with some of the most well known hash makers. Golden Leaf is a community treasure. Treat it with respect and love the leaf. read more

they used to be a good team. now it's all about the money. twice I've bought vape cartridges that didn't work, no matter to them, they got the $$$$ and once you step out their door you are worthless to them. try another store, you'll be better off. read more

Absolutely rock solid!! high quality products, great prices. specials galore!! super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Where ever you are at, well worth the drive!! read more

What can I say? You know and if you don't, you should. *WINK* This place is just down the road from downtown Steamboat. You want it they got it! Gummies, chocolates, brownies, heck they even have spicy bison jerky!! You need some gear, they have Golden Leaf hats and t-shirts. Next time you're in Steamboat go by and say hello. They are fast, curtious , and very knowledgeable! read more

I have never been to such place, and never seen MW before. So, I was a bit not sure what to expect. It turns out that the people who works there are very normal and very nice. One guy first asked to see our ID. You must be over 21. Although we are in our 40s, we still need to show our ID. This is the law obviously. Then he spent a lot of time to educate us on the topic and explained everything, very patient. I wish a pharmacist could be this detailed. It is quite similar when it comes to risk and benefits of drugs and MW. Love this place and will come back if I visit Steamboat again. read more

A great place to visit: friendly knowledgeable staff and a welcoming atmosphere make for a great shopping experience. Prices are great for store-bought products, and a lot of it is very local. Yes, you can buy CBDs at the coffee shop but that's like buying beer and wine from Walgreens... You're not going to get any advice on what you should buy for your immediate needs. Golden Leaf has had many of the same staff for years, and they've really home that their craft. They've got a cure for what ails you today, tomorrow, and plenty of treats if you just want to have a good time. read more

Lots of variety. Attendants behind the counter are helpful. Easy to find, but wish they had a shuttle service.

With the gracious help of Art K. who explained all their CBD product, I was able to purchase just the right one and have it delivered. Excellent product and service! Thanks Art! read more

Without a doubt the best dispensary I've been in. I have to give a shout out to Sammy for helping me out in a pinch, but everyone in the shop is cool and knowledgeable read more

Not impressed. Found prices absurd - nearly double compared to Denver for same product. Staff member indifferent. I'll try the other dispensary next time and I'll be going to Steamboat a lot next year (Ikon). read more

Very informative staff, it was better than Walmart. Education of pot. And great prices. Pre rolled. I actually got too much, I made somebody's day. Hey and it's legal...we will be back when we retire lol read more

First time in Steamboat, wanted to find a friendly store and we found just that. The budtender was friendly and knowledgeable and the selection was prime. If I'm ever back in the boat I'll be back to Golden Leaf. read more

Walked in, checked my ID, I am from out of state, Mississippi. Just turned 21, (I am aware I don't look 21). Manager accused me of being underage, said my ID was fake, bent it back and worth to where my lamination was cracked through the middle. Called the police on me, threatened me that I was going to be charged with a felony. Eventually went and ran my license, found out it was legit. Came back to us with a sorry, fake apology. This management seems pretty unorganized. I'm sure they have good product, but if you want to skip all the bullshit, go To Rocky Mountain Remedies. Way more friendly, great prices, great service. read more

Golden leaf use to be an amazing place to get medicine. The people and the cannabis was excellent. What I have seen over this past year is that they are now cutting corners to get more people in and out vs caring for the needs of each customer. They now prepackage their meds which the customer has no clue what they are going to get. The end of the jar, small shake and buds that are mostly stem dominate their prepackaged medicine, rather than how they use to service their clients with the ability to see and pick your medicine. Not sure about you but when I buy something I want to see it and if its not to my liking I shouldn't have to buy it. But for these guys now you can pick your meds if you want top shelf only. We spend a min of 1K a month at this place and with that WE EXPECT EXTRAORDINARY customer service and TOP of the line medicine that we have had the opportunity to see and smell and pick out. I called today to complain AGAIN to management that the woman refused to open more than one prepackaged 1/8 because the one she opened was small buds with heavy stems and I refused to purchase it. That's not what I want to spend my money on. I expressed my disappointment AGAIN about the fact they are prepackaging and for US who care about what they buy this is not a pleasant experience. The manager who answered really didn't care about my disappointment and told me you win some and you lose some.. I certainly would not want to lose a customer who spends 1K per month at my place of business. They moved to prepackaging because they can get people in and out quickly. Well I don't need nor want to get in and out quickly. I want to spend time looking, smelling and selecting the buds I am spending my money on. REMEMBER YOU HAVE DIFFERENT TYPES OF CUSTOMERS and your business should service both especially if one is spending a lot of $$ at your place. When I asked for the owner to call me and asked for the name he responded Golden Leaf. SO I asked again and he repeated Golden leaf. SO I had to ask again so the owners first name is golden and last name is leaf and he still refused to give me the name saying that's what he is paid for to be the manager and take customer complaints..... Well when a manager takes the side of an employee rather than making a customer feel good about their experience, we know you have the wrong management in place. A managers job is to listen and in the end make the customer happy. I am not asking for anything FREE I am asking that I get to see what I am purchasing as once i walk out the door IT CAN NOT BE RETURNED... I think for this place they have LOST the very thing that builds a company EXTRAORDINARY customer service. My experience with Rocky Mountain Remedies has been fantastic! They DONT PREPACKAGE they let you pick your buds and they have amazing customer service. The owners names are Golden Anderson and Charlie Magnuson and we will be following up with the City to file a complaint as well as see if we can get this owner to respond to a very disappointed customer. They always say customer service starts at the TOP with owners and management. read more

Great selection and atmosphere! There is a medical side in addition to the upstairs recreational store. I shopped on the recreational side and enjoyed my experience; everything is laid out in display cases for viewing and the prices are low for a ski town (and they include the tax!). Definitely will hit them up again next time I am in Steamboat read more

Stay away from Golden Leaf---ski resort town rip off!!! Overcharged terribly for a vape refill cartridge--over $100. They see tourists and they see $$$. I found the exact same cartridge for $55 in Ft Collins. They have a 30% tax too!! I don't like leaving a bad review unless a business deserves it and Golden Leaf really does deserve it. read more

I came in here during spring break with a few of my friends. We are all legally 21, but we were harassed because my friend apparently looks young for his age. The guy checking IDs barely glanced at his ID and quickly told us he was keeping the ID. After we repeatedly told him it was a real ID, he began bending the ID in such a manner that it is now permanently bent and wrinkled. He then asked for all of our IDs and gave them all the same treatment. He then threatened to call the cops and walked up stairs to do so. So after holding all of our IDs and keeping us in the store waiting for 20 minutes, he came down and gave a fake apology. After the way we were treated, we won't be going back there. We took our business to Rocky Mountain Remedies where we were treated with the upmost respect. RMR had great deals and great product. If you want good customer service I suggest driving 3 minutes past Golden Leaf and give your business to RMR. read more
