Now of course this being a wire transfer and my first big purchase as a young man I was nervous, and my bank was more nervous and denied the wire at first, but Juan was super patient and helped a ton, he sent info about there bank officer, he helped with calls and talking to the bank poeple, they have reviews from all the way back from 2018. Anyways I took the risk and did the wire transfer after the bank finally talked to the bank officer and said they felt a lot more comfortable about it, which made me more comfortable. My watch showed up in 1 day as promised with all the papers and the box. It was incredibly packaged and it felt like I was opening up one that was new. And I couldn't imagine it was far from the experience. To say it lightly the watch was real and the sales team was super patient and helpful. I can't wait for when I hit my next goal of 500k in the market so I can go online and google this shop and call Juan up to buy my next watch. (I live in michigan and this is Texas so the bank was super worried about the fact that I had never seen or touched this watch, but it arrived in perfect condition and no weird business happened and I couldn't be happier about it )

Today, I found Estate Watch & Jewelry Buyers (AKA Houston Gold Buyers) online and the reviews seemed better. I went here first with two others I never needed. This 35+ year business is run by a father-daughter team. Very small and friendly. They have a machine that scans for gold or silver content and will also indicate gold plate, copper, etc. Everything seemed very fair. They have to make a profit so don't expect full gold value, etc. I sold a small gold coin and 3 rings and was paid with cash. They do thumbprints, pictures and ID checks. Ram gave me a great price and a quality item that I was very happy with. Although pleased I decided to check a couple more places before paying in full. I put layaway to make sure and came back in a couple days knowing that was the perfect item. Ram wasn't in so Will took great care of me and helped me get my item out of layaway. He also referred me to a jeweler for sizing. Went to the jeweler and the sizing and thickness was perfect but they didn't buff or remove the scratches that likely happens during sizing from the ring. I was disappointed and didn't want to give my fiancé scratched jewelry. I decided to stop back by Sunbelt and talk to Will. He took a look at it and apologized for his referral not going above and beyond. He asked me for the ring and when he came back it looked better than new! Back in 2014, they scratched my watch and refused to take responsibility, acting with a total lack of professionalism. I even filed a BBB complaint at the time, to no avail. Stopping in recently, I realized that while the scenery has changed, the management hasn't. I guess 'crime' pays in the short term, but the universe has a way of remembering.
