I made a comment to my husband that this was a place people came to retire in. That being said, there was not many places for us to find souvenirs for our family! This shop was one of maybe three that we visited and where we ended up buying our souvenirs. The shop is split up into two main sections. The front is where the more delicate and fragile homemade/community made items were located. The items were a little pricey in the front. I get it, it's homemade and the skill and labor that goes into it comes with a cost; however, nothing worth the price caught our eyes. The back was where the touristy items/homemade bath/spa items were. We browsed both areas, but we eventually only bought items in the back of the store. I liked that there were testers for the spa items, like the lotions and sprays. I would have regretted buying some of them just based off the names. We also bought some T shirts that were half off, which was a really good deal! As for the service, no one really spoke to us while we were there. We didn't mind since we like to just browse and shop at our own pace. Especially being tourists, not really looking for anything specific. The lady that checked us out was friendly.

I looked around for a while and waited for one of the two people who worked there to look up from their phone in order to get assistance. No response from either employee, so I had to interrupt whatever they were looking at on their phone in order to ask a question. I found a shirt that I liked and asked if I could try it on. The clerk said they don't have dressing rooms and that I could look in a mirror. At that point, I inquired about returning the shirt if it didn't fit. Both he and the other clerk said,"no returns". I said that was too bad because they just lost a sale, knowing that if the shirt didn't fit I'd be out of luck. The other one chimed in and said," That's fine. We don't care. People have gotten too hard to work with." Just a thought.....Maybe you shouldn't be working with the public if people are " too hard to work with"? It's too bad that this store in particular hasn't retained the standards that it once had.
