Jarrett was outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient as he walked us through several different options without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. He helped us find exactly what we were looking for: a beautiful, high-quality sterling silver cross at a great price. It's refreshing to receive such genuine customer service these days. If you're looking for quality jewelry and a staff that truly cares about helping you find the right piece, I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Jarrett. We'll definitely be back!

I have purchased from GGS in the past and, unfortunately, have had to return multiple items. This…read moreparticular experience was especially disappointing because of what I felt was a lack of transparency regarding the condition of an item and the way my concerns were handled afterward. I purchased a "collectible" frog enamel ring for $926.33 and was genuinely excited about the piece. After receiving my order confirmation, I went back to look more closely at the listing. It was then that I noticed, in one of the photos, what appeared to be a hole or significant loss in the enamel on the back of the frog. This damage was not mentioned anywhere in the description, which reads: "Striking gold frog ring, vibrant green enamel, dazzling ruby eyes, whimsical luxury. Size 4.75." My concern is not that a pre-owned item showed some signs of wear. I understand that used jewelry can have imperfections. My concern is that a significant area of missing or damaged enamel was not disclosed in the written description. There was also visible pitting in the 14K gold, although that was not my primary concern. I contacted the seller promptly because I wanted to address the issue before the package had even been delivered. Unfortunately, rather than feeling that my concern was being taken seriously, I felt that the response was sarcastic, rude, and condescending. I was told that the item had been listed by the owner Greg's wife and that any damage should have been apparent from the photographs. In my opinion, that is not an adequate substitute for clearly disclosing known or apparent damage in a jewelry listing--particularly for an item being presented as collectible and sold for nearly $1,000. I was also told that, because the jewelry is used, imperfections are to be expected. Again, I completely understand that. However, there is a significant difference between normal signs of wear and an area of missing enamel that is not disclosed in the description. I was additionally told that the enamel loss could be polished out with a polishing cloth. As someone familiar with jewelry, I found that statement particularly concerning, as a polishing cloth cannot restore missing enamel. What was especially frustrating was being told that the seller was not "trying to pull the wool over my eyes," while simultaneously being given an explanation that did not address my actual concern: why was the enamel damage not clearly disclosed in the listing? I contacted the company through Instagram and email before the store even opened because I was trying to address the issue as quickly as possible and potentially save everyone the time, expense, and inconvenience of dealing with a return. During the conversation, Greg said that he wished the package had not already been dropped off at the post office so that he could open it and inspect the damage himself. That raised another question for me: if the condition of the piece needed to be verified, shouldn't that inspection have taken place before the item was listed and sold? I am not expecting every pre-owned piece of jewelry to be flawless. I am expecting accurate descriptions, transparency about significant damage, and respectful communication when a customer raises a legitimate concern--especially after spending $926.33. This experience left me feeling dismissed rather than valued as a customer. Accountability and professionalism go a long way in retail, and unfortunately, I did not feel that either was demonstrated here. Based on this experience, I would encourage prospective customers to carefully inspect every photograph, ask detailed questions about condition before purchasing, and think carefully about whether this is a company they feel comfortable doing business with.
