I have just learned and am shocked that Walgreens recent buy out of Sax Drugs in Taylor has thrown…read morethe loyal and long time employees of Sax under the bus by cutting their hours and their pay. Sax just sold out to Walgreens and Walgreens will be taking over the Sax Taylor location on August 1. The employees told me that all Walgreens wanted was the Sax customer list for their pharmacy. I seriously doubt that they will be keeping both locations open - they are only a mile apart. I suggest to anyone who has their perscriptions at Walgreens to switch to one of the many other pharmacies in the Taylor area since they are treating long time employees in this way. The sax employees found out about the buyout AFTER the general public did - they will be losing their old jobs at Sax on Aug 1. The employees said that they were told buy the owner of Sax that part of the agreement they made with Walgreens, was that Walgreens stipulated that none of the employees were to be informed. I will not do business with companies that treat their workers in this way. This is just another example of the corporate takeover of American small family businesses. It is very sad. Wall Street is completely out of touch with Main Street and this is just another example.

Left a msg for pharmacist to call me after looking on line and seeing my prescription had a "action…read morerequired" banner above it. Received a call back from a very rude pharmacist that said "I am not filling your prescription" When I let him know that even though it had only been 20+ days since my last order, it was a change in the milligrams and type of medication and my insurance covers it when there's been that type of change. He didn't want to hear any of that or ask any questions he just kept repeating "I am not going to fill it" louder until he ultimately yelled it He was rude and intimidating I asked to speak with the pharmacist at some point and he said loudly "I AM THE PHARMACIST" I said you are being rude and he hung up the phone. I called CVS to file a formal complaint, they were very polite and helpful Also called the local Walgreens, they filled my prescription in 15 minutes.

We saw that it was advertised as $3.99 for an 8x10 picture which was fine. We got to the store and there were only a couple customers shopping but three workers at the front counter. We went to photo and tried to print our picture there but the cables to connect phones were missing. When the guy working finally decided to ask if we needed help, he told us the price for the picture printing there was $8.99, it was only $3.99 if we ordered online and waited an hour for them to print it. Even after explaining our situation he just said we'll, those are the options, it's more expensive to print here because of "convenience". Pardon me? It's more than double the price because of the convenience of me havi g to drive to the store, deal with your broken/slow/outdated computer software and not get customer service than it is for me to order through their website where they then do all the work for me? What part of that is convenient? After this horrible experience, I will never set foot inside any CVS again and I will tell everyone I know to do the same. Thankfully the girl at the Walgreens right across the street was super helpful and was able to do our "one hour" photo job on the spot when we walked in.
