So, this is bigger amount, i looked at photos of the Tucson warehouse , very stocked , and asked how often a family can get a box of food and staples. ONCE A MONTH WITH FULL RESIDENCE ID. It seems to me, with this much inventory, no one should have to get by on once a month. And, if you need food from the food bank you seem unlikely to have a current drivers license and a home. I don't see how a box a month of dry good will last for 1-2 people. I would suggest weekly and in need only as a requirement. I made my large donation. elsewhere in Tucson where i can specify how it is to be used. Nutrition and Vitamins thatmedicare insurance won't pay for.

I called ahead to check if they'd take the fresh stuff, and a friendly staff member confirmed they would. When I got there, the parking lot was packed, but dropping off the donations was a breeze. Staff members were really nice and appreciative, and I'm sure the food went to those who need it.

I will not give money to the unhoused as I think it will primarily go to drugs, booze, or cigs so we donate food here instead. They serve so many needy families and have mobile outreach to the unhoused. Do not let the negative reviews stop you from supporting this charity. They help lots of people that need it.
