I would very much not recommend this company, during the Covid-19 pandemic I owed my first mortgage…read morepayment. Their website was down, I couldn't use the automatic phone payments so I attempted to call the company itself as I had no other way of paying. I was answered with someone who wanted to charge $9 for taking a payment even though my other "cheaper or free" options were taken away from me. They would not waive said fee, and overall were of no help. Aside from that their phones must be from the 90's as it sounded like they were speaking through a tunnel with sand being sprinkled into the microphone.

Very unprofessional. I was told that a COO or President would be contacting me back. That follow up did not happen. Since my original inquiry on the file, the updates have been slow (contact them on Monday and they respond on Wednesday) and the file has still not been sent to USDA..... This is the least sense of urgency of any lending company I have dealt with. Even at crunch time there is no increase in focus on the file. No ownership - lack of communication. Apparent lack of follow up - poor file review - I guess they don't know what the underwriter is going to ask for and it is customary for the file to be sent to underwriting review multiple times - each with a 48 hour review time. I am guessing they do not have their own underwriters and are at the mercy of some 3rd party to do their underwriting. - This is a horrible experience. Have you ever been in a parking lot waiting to back out of your parking stall? Do you know how you feel when a pedestrian is walking behind you and you are stuck. Most pedestrians realize that you are waiting on them so they put a little pep in their step for the appropriate period of time. You really don't mind waiting for those people because there is a shared sense of cooperation. And how do you feel when the people walking behind your car walk slower or take the longest route possible when they see that you are waiting on them? It is frustrating because they clearly know that you are imprisoned in this parking space until they move. You are at their mercy and they clearly do not care about your goals. This is how I feel working with GSF. They know they are holding up multiple closings on a stacked (domino) closing and yet their process has become even slower. I wouldn't use them for any file where you feel like your buyers would want to close on time. I wouldn't let a buyer use them on any house you have listed just to protect your seller from this mess.

I called twice for a simple Direct Deposit issue…read more The issue was not resolved & the call was riddled with annoying security questions. I can't close my account fast enough.

Very disappointed in the service with the branch located at 3600 N 124th St…read moreWauwatosa, WI 53222 and Landmark Credit Union's employee (Ashley). Had a business account with Landmark Credit Union (LCU) and Quickbooks (QB). Our remodeling business closed at the end of 2023. We didn't think anything about our next annual renewal with QB, because the business had closed and the card QB had on file had expired in 2023, but LCU allowed the QB transaction to go through, also causing an overdraft with overdraft fees. We filed a dispute with Landmark Credit Union for the 5/16/2024 QB transaction, which they denied any wrongdoing, dismissing our dispute. We then had to bring our LCU account back to zero, paying for QB and all of the overdraft fees, in order to reclose the business account. I then, reached back out to QB for a refund. QB did in fact refund the annual subscription fee to our LCU account, but QB policy was to refund the money to the same account that the funds came from, in this case was LCU. LCU received the refund from QB and sent us a check made out to the business that had closed and no longer had an open account with LCU. When we went into Wauwatosa LCU branch to cash the refunded check, Ashley told us she cannot cash the check due to us no longer having an account with LCU, but would hold onto the check and look into the matter. Ashley called back stating "the check was the refunded amount from QB, and there was nothing else she nor LCU would be able to do for us and that I needed to contact QB for another refund." QB cannot reissue another refund unless LCU returns the original refund back to QB. At this point we are just in a vicious cycle now that should have never been allowed to happen in the first place. My question is how can money be pulled out of an LCU account using an expired debit card? How was what LCU allowed not illegal on their behalf?
