There is also a large selection of prepared items, be it cold to take home or hot to eat right then and there. The staff I've worked with so far has been kind and friendly. Cleanliness-wise, I find the store is very clean. However, there was one visit where the area in the back by the coolers was unpleasantly musty. As far as I can tell, this was a one-off. What does make TFM a little less stellar is their prices. Look, I have no issue paying premium prices for premium products. However, when the same can of peas or jar of Nutella costs significantly more, I'm a little less thrilled. With this, TFM works great as a supplement to my usual grocer. This is especially true for prepared items, quality meats, and, of course, snacks! However, the more limited selection and high prices mean it isn't a full replacement for my regular grocer, yet.

They have some international brands, although the Mexican grocery store farther west on Lawrence (Lindo Michigan) is a better bet for Central American things. Prices are a smidge higher than you might find elsewhere, but at least they're consistent and don't require you to download an app or join a frequent shopper club or whatever. I do wish they would stay open a little later. The staff are helpful, and they have a good selection of spices and seasonings. I wasn't able to find caraway seed elsewhere, for some reason, but when I asked a staff member if they had any, he immediately took me to the exact spot on the shelf where they had it in two different container sizes.

I'm always right-- I remember numbers-- but it's the store's job to keep track of all their merchandise and prices. Even though they'll correct the prices for me, everybody else is being overcharged. Second is their stocking methods: half the time, many of the aisles are packed with merchandise waiting to be shelved. It's annoying and dangerous, not to mention damaging to the frozen foods thawing on the floor. I've tripped on their piles of boxes more than once. Tl;dr: overcharges fixed begrudgingly, stock on the floors all over.
