I really wish I had read these reviews before booking. Called before my 5-hour flight to Boston for a same-day reservation. Was told same day was not a problem, and that my reservation would be in the system and I could jump on any of the Go Boston shuttles at the pickup location. While on the flight, they sent texts to confirm my reservation which listed the wrong pickup day. Called once I was off the plane and was told it would be 30 minutes before a shuttle arrived....no regular flow of shuttles circling the airport as implied earlier. When I complained about the mistake and delay and asked for a discount, they said I should just take a taxi or Uber instead.... Was told by an airport employee in the pickup area when he saw me waiting so long that Go Boston has a lot of late and missed reservations. Chose this service based on Westin Waltham website recommendation. Will let them know about the poor quality of service. Only positive was the informative and friendly driver. read more

These guys are amazing! So I booked a ride for my Mom to take home from Logan after she was visiting me in San Diego. She happened to lose her phone along the way and was very disoriented when she arrived in Boston... She had a lot of trouble finding the shuttle. The driver waited for 2 hours but then had to leave because security wouldn't let him stay any longer. Once we figured out where she was, he actually still returned to the airport to get her. I was communicating with the dispatcher the whole time and he was so nice and patient about the whole situation. He was truly a pleasure to deal with and I couldn't have been happier that I chose them to pick her up. read more

Take the Logan Express bus instead!!! I implore you. Driver sat more than 200 ft south of the side entrance of the hotel, and I was unable to find him. This came out several emails into correspondence with the company and the Better Business Bureau, as I ended up taking a cab for fear of missing my flight, and requested a refund from GO Boston Shuttle. Their first response was to lie and say I had gotten the ride from GO Boston Shuttle. Then they said they would not issue a refund because the driver had to be paid for his time, EVEN THOUGH THEY DID NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE. read more

The Sheraton Boston hotel site suggested GoBoston Shuttle as well as Back Bay Logan Express. I chose GoBoston since you could make advance reservations online and schedule pickups for $17/person each leg. My flight landed in Boston an hour late due to a delay in Salt Lake City, so had to wait for my check-in luggage, then wait for the next available shuttle outside, looking for the van with green lettering (as opposed to a green van). My original pickup time was 4:20pm, got out to the curb around 6pm after the delays, then didn't arrive at my hotel (after one other drop-off at Park Plaza, shared van service) until a little after 7pm! There were other shuttles that came more frequently to the airport terminal associated with other hotels, and the weather was a little rainy, but we were definitely a full van of at least 8 people. For my roundtrip, pickup was scheduled at 9:45am outside of Sheraton for an 11:35am flight, and I was able to pack my bags, checkout, and when I got curbside there was already a GoBoston shuttle van waiting but I wasn't on that driver's list of pickups. A minute later, another GoBoston shuttle rolls up and it's pretty smooth sailing until the wonderful TSA lines at Logan. Wasn't too cramped of a ride, I had one check-in luggage and one backpack carryon with me, no poster tubes or anything. read more

I will support this business based on their efforts in contacting me to confirm a cancellation rather than just charge my credit card. After the Boston Marathon was cancelled I thought I'd cancelled my entire reservation but apparently only cancelled the arrival shuttle. Carrie at Go Boston called twice to try and contact me to confirm that I didn't need the return shuttle. Even though I missed both calls she did not just charge my credit card but cancelled the reservation and sent an email. This is an honest business that thinks of customers first. When travel starts up again I hope people will return and support Go Boston. read more

We booked round trip online to Boston airport at 2:30am. At about 3:00am, they still did not show up. When we called, they said that the service was cancelled a day ago! That is total BS because 1. We never cancelled it and 2. We never got any confirmation it's cancelled! All I can think of is that they messed up the schedule and was trying to avoid the blame, because when they got our confirmation number, they first confirmed our trip info, then put us on wait line for 2minutes, then another guy said we cancelled it! Worse still, one day after our flight, we called again to make sure that the round trip was cancelled, and they confirmed and said would give us full refund soon. Now, 10 days after that day, it's still not refunded. We called again just now and they said they are working on the refund, and hopefully that is the end of the story. BTW we ended up using uber both ways to/from airport and it's half the cost. Stay away from GO Boston Shuttle. Update: got our refund 5 days after our trip back. read more

I am their worst passenger!! Really. That's what I was told on the phone by Butch Fernandes. So, Butch, I apologize for being your worst passenger. Please forgive me for being tired from traveling all day, connecting on flights and squished into a middle seat for a long flight. Forgive me, Butch, for being a bit exasperated on the phone after I dragged my heavy suitcase, a backpack and a box to the end of the terminal where I was told the shuttle would be, only to find I had to walk across to another location, where I wasn't even certain the shuttle would be. Forgive me, Butch, for trying to complete a sentence while you were interrupting me and talking over me. Clearly, you were right when you told me, "You are the worst passenger." and , "You don't need to talk anymore." I'm so sorry that I was tired and frustrated and had to wait an additional 30 minutes after the shuttle van passed by me while you were belittling me on the phone. How could I have been so insensitive and rude to your magnificent and well developed customer service skills. Well that was an interesting ride. I was staying at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, and I asked the concierge if they had a shuttle, and they said they didn't have their own, but they could arrange it with a local company. I said no problem lets do it the concierge made the call, and gave the company my credit card and was charged $17.. which i guess is reasonable considering everything is expensive in this area of Boston. The driver arrived right on time and helped me with my bag and he was nice enough and friendly. We had to make one stop to pick up another passenger that was heading to the airport. I didn't think twice about it since I left plenty of time before my flight. Well this is when it gets a little strange It became apparent that the driver realllly needed a new pair or glasses or something, he was having a really hard time trying to read a tablet with the address of the next passenger, which I could clearly read from the back seat. He called in for directions since his GPS told him what way to go but he didnt think it was right. I'm glad he made the call or we'd be driving around downtown Boston for hours. I do appreciate the sight seeing tour but I just wanted to get to the airport. The driver was able to figure out where the next passenger was at, and he didnt seem to be able to read the address numbers on the doors so I helped guide him in to the address of the next passenger. The trip to the airport from there wasn't bad since driving in downtown is challenging on a good day, i was just glad to be at the airport and the hell out of that minivan. read more

When I made a reservation online I was given the shuttle pick up time of 10:46 pm! We had to wait until 10:59 for shuttle to arrive!!! Making my total wait for the shuttle 35 minutes! We were the first to be picked up, so the waiting was not due to other passengers of other terminals! After picking us up, the shuttle went to one other terminals to pick up more passengers. My destination was a total of 25 minutes drive from the airport; while with GO Boston shuttle it took me 80 minutes to get there! I paid $46 for the shuttle service (1 adult+1 child) and $5 tip all together $51 while a taxi ride + tip would cost me $65. So I saved $14 but waisted 55 minutes! When I was waiting for the shuttle I called GO Boston shuttle customer service to inquire about the long delay. I was told the time I was given online "9:46 pm" was approximate!!!!! Really? approximate by 13 minutes! There is no mention of this time approximation in the website! I would never use GO Boston Shuttle again! read more

Avoid at all costs. We booked a ride from Logan airport and when we landed, we called to confirm when and where they will pick us up. They said there will be a driver there in 15-20 minutes. This did not happen. We waited outside for over and hour with 2 other people that were not with our party. 2 other van services stopping by at least 3 times each. After each person called and the women on the phone initially blaming the issue on us, they sent out another driver. When we asked the driver why it took so long he said he didn't know, they just sent him out and blamed the delay on being overbooked due to students coming back. What's the point of taking a reservation if you can't keep it? Also, the driver wasn't exactly delicate with our bags. He overloaded the back and tried to slam the door shut as hard as he could several times to get is closed. Save your money and get a cab, it'll probably be faster and cheaper. read more

I am a dissatisfied customer. Will not use this service again. I have never written negative review but this case merits one. I booked online and reviewed their policy which stated their van makes stops twice an hour.my scheduled pick-up was at 10:15am. However My flight arrived 20 minutes early. I arrived to the shuttle stop at 10:05 and I waited until 10:30 to.contact dispatch. They said it would be ANOTHER 15-20 minutes until a van came. Mind you its 30 degrees outside. The van finally shows up at 10:50. A 45 minute wait is unacceptable. And 2 vans did not come by as stated in their policy .Next time I will use Knights shuttle during my nearly hour wait, 3 of their vans picked up passengers. Save your self a headache and take your business else where. read more

I booked online via Viator for $24 1-way ride & unfortunately it ended up being christmas eve in 2016! Rang the company & they lady advised me to buy a new ride for $17 as she couldn't find my reservation.. Fortunately she eventually found it for 2015! The shuttle driver was allegedly there but I've been in the phone with her for over 10 minutes & I told her there was no shuttle. Anyway she said "he's left"?! Things seem to be pretty magical with this shuttle business.. Guess it's better than being stuck in the airport on Christmas eve! The new shuttle is allegedly 20 minutes away.. Watch this space. I booked round trip service from Dorchester to Logan Ride to Logan: My flight was early the day before Thanksgiving, I'd gotten a call the night before that pickup was moved back 15 minutes, no big deal I had zealously booked a little earlier than necessary anyways. In the morning driver was right on time, very helpful and friendly. We picked up one other person and the whole experience was super smooth. Ride from Logan: As I'm getting my baggage i get a call that the van is outside for me, sweet. Get outside and it looks pretty full, but there is room for one more and the driver is expecting me. Passengers are all ready to go driver is looking at some list of his, presumably getting his route together. Then someone else shows up at the van, there's no room for her luggage so he puts it up front with us and it's digging into my arm. First drop was at the South Boston Waterfront. The other passengers were going to Cambridge, Weston, and Longwood Medical Area. Oh and me, Dorchester about 3.5 miles away. So he goes to Cambridge with the aid of TWO gps thingies, gets completely turned around at the second Cambridge drop off and then (as I had helped him figure out where the Longwood drop off was trying to go) asks ME how far is Weston. I let him know Longwood and Dorchester should probably be first. He gets turned around getting to the Longwood address and gets upset at the passenger for not knowing where she is going (first time in from Ohio, obviously she should have learned the streets beforehand). because he doesn't know, he's in from Worcester to do this job. I direct him to the main entrance to her hospital. And then proceed to direct him to my home and he missed a couple of turns but I finally made. I would give them another try if I needed to for a pickup, but I'll stick to cabs from the airport or the T. read more

Arriving BOS: I was nervous about how long I would have to wait for my shuttle to come since my flight landed at 6am. To my surprise, the driver called my cel at 6:15am to tell me he was curbside! And although I paid for shared ride, no other passengers rode. I got to my hotel safely and the driver was so polite, and van was clean. Leaving BOS: Again, driver was punctual and 30mins early. Very polite and the van was clean, but this ride was shared. To my advantage, we had one stop before getting to BOS and we drove through downtown Boston. Best part of my trip so far since I had not seen many sights!!! Got to the airport within plenty of time of my departure. Highly recommended shuttle. I also booked at least 24hr in advance, which I believe makes your experience much smoother. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I live in Providence, RI, 15 mins from the Providence airport (PVD). I looked online for a shuttle service, and ended up booking through shuttlefare.com. Somehow this, and Goairportshuttle.com and gobostonshuttle.com are connected. I booked pickup at home for 4:45am on Sunday morning. The roundtrip fare was $5.00, discounted $1.00 each way, for a total of $3.00 - thought it was odd but maybe I was getting a deal. At 4:30pm on Saturday, as I was parking to attend a black-tie fundraiser, I got a call from gobostonshuttle that they would not be picking me up at 4:45pm and they were "sorry" and that because I had booked through "some other site" I would have to request the refund from them. So that sucked. Amazingly a Lyft driver was around Sunday morning and got me to the airport. On the return, I landed at PVD at 1am Thursday morning (after a couple delays). I had already planned on taking Lyft from the airport home. When I got home, I saw I had a new voicemail. It was Andrew from gobostonshuttle letting me know they had a reservation for a pick-up, but their billing system said amount due was negative 87 cents and he was assuring me that they would not pay me 87 cents to drive with them, and the fare was $205.50, but they didn't have a credit card to charge, and I should call them back ASAP to cancel if I didn't want the ride. Mind you, the call came when I was actually in the air, sometime around 5 or 6 pm. $205.50 for a 15 minute ride? less than 12 hours notice to cancel on a pre-dawn pick-up? These guys can go pound sand. Never ever will consider gobostonshuttle for airport trans to PVD or BOS. read more

I needed a ride to the airport to catch an early international flight from Waltham. They picked me up on time (5:30 in the morning) and charged $39. Granted there were a.) no cars on the street and b.) not a whole lot of people from the suburbs west of Boston needing a ride to the airport at 5:30 in the morning. It was cheaper than a taxi but considerably more expensive than public transportation. I took the commuter rail on my return trip. I would have taken it there if I wasn't so concerned with being at the airport hours early to catch a flight to Asia. YAWWWWWN. Reserved in advance. Arrived at airport and used the app to notify when we had picked up our luggage. Waited outside in the cold over an hour and still no driver. Called and was told traffic was bad and driver on the way in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later still no driver. In the meantime watched tons of other shuttles come and go. Finally canceled and ended up paying more for another service that was available. Hotel to airport, two shuttles were at door but were told that neither of them was 'our' shuttle and we had to wait for ours to arrive. Driver non-communicative but did get us to airport on time. Driver arrived 20 minutes late, kept asking me if I was the name under someone else's reservation and I kept pointing to my name saying, "no this is me, stop asking if the other person is me." Driver just stopped on the side of the road right now to enter addresses on the GPS when we're right about to enter a freeway. Pretty dangerous with cars zooming by. The shuttle tracked my flight and picked me up shortly after I landed in Boston (my flight was 20 minutes late). The driver was courteous and professional. He was a long-time Boston resident and also gave me plenty of "new to Boston" tips. Great suggestions for restaurants, subway info, interesting places around the city to see. They picked me up from the airport so I could do a Linux training gig in Lexington, MA. They go all over Boston & the suburbs. The downside of a shared ride is that it will take longer than taking a taxi, but to me the savings are worth it. read more

Great service. Nothing fancy but exactly what I needed. I recently traveled with a group of 6 to logan from somerville and we needed transportation at about 2am. After hunting around I found go boston shuttle through a Google search. My only complaint is that the Web reservation is a but weird it based pickup time off your flight number and did not allow you to customize. When I called I was able to quickly customize my trip to what I needed. For a flat rate of about $18 per person we got a private shuttle from my house to logan at 2:15am. The cost included tolls and gratuity. For the cost it was perfect driver was early and called when he arrived told us to come out whenever we were ready. We ended up also using them on the return trip. The drivers both ways were very friendly and loaded/unloaded all of our bags for us. I was worried by some of the negative reviews on here but most seem to be about the shared shuttles. So if it is cost effective for you I would definitely recommend the private service. All in all great taxi service only complaint is the online reservation sysyem (but the super friendly customer service reps over the phone made up for it). read more

I would give this zero stars if I could. I travel a lot for work and I've been in many cabs and shuttles. I've never been so afraid of a drivers driving in my life. It was jerky, slamming on the brakes so often that my bag kept sliding off and onto the floor. My seat belt stayed in the locked state and was cutting into my neck. I wasn't about to take if off though. There was a mix up as to what hotel I needed to go to and when he stopped at the wrong hotel after I repeatedly told him that wasn't where I was staying, he said "get out and take a bus". We all know how it is after a long day of travel and all you want to do is check in and rest your feet. Nope, I had to walk with my luggage to my actual hotel which for him would have taken 2 extra minutes to deliver me there. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. ***Update... I emailed the company my experience and they refunded my fare which was the right thing to do and they gave a sincere apology. Hopefully they make some changes. I really didn't expect to get a response, so at least there's that. read more

We reserved a shared shuttle from the airport and were switched to a private shuttle that cost more than twice as much. When we talked to the company about it, they said that must have been the only option available. And to top it all off, our driver got lost on the way to our apartment and a 20 minute ride ended up being 1 hour and 30 minutes long! We had to tell the driver that we were headed the wrong way. Had a horrible experience. Checked in with my luggage and the website said the driver would be there in 15 minutes. Called to find out where to wait and the dispatcher said 15 minutes. I waited for 30 minutes and then again tried to check in. I was called and told the driver had passed me and there was no one available for 1 hour. No apology, no explanation. They did give me a credit but did not specify if I was getting my money back. I would never use this service again and I will tell all my friends not to either. read more

I'd give it one star, but the driver was nice and tried to point out interesting buildings in Boston (though it was nighttime and I couldn't really see anything). I only chose this shuttle because the Boston Park Plaza recommended it. They should stop doing that. I reserved online, based on when my flight was supposed to arrive. The website says that the shuttles show up at Logan every 30 minutes, so I'm not sure why I had to choose a specific time. My flight came in early, and I notified them. Their dispatch said the driver was on his way, he would be there in 10-20 minutes. I wasn't the only one waiting for the shuttle. Anyway, 20 minutes pass, I check the tracking again. Again, the driver has been notified, will be there in 10-20 minutes. All in all, I waited about 45 minutes in the freezing cold. I would have waited inside the airport, but I thought they were on their way, according to their tracker! The other people waiting gave up and took a taxi. Please, don't say you'll be there within 20 minutes, and don't say that the shuttle shows up every 30 minutes. Both are completely false. read more

Used GO Boston shuttle last Friday to go from Back Bay to Logan Airport. Driver arrived on time and took our bags and told us not to go in the van until another passenger came downstairs from the hotel. I was confused, he wanted us to wait outside in the 90 degree sticky heat? Noticing our confusion he laughed and said "well there's no AC in this van, so you're in for a really hot ride!" Wow, we paid full price to ride in an uncomfortable hot van? Ride to the airport was literally hell. We had two elderly people in our van who almost passed out. I'm from California and used to heat but I literally sweated thru my whole outfit and had to change before I boarded my plane. Such a let down, and poor driver who had to be stuck in that vehicle all day. Shame on you management, if you're in the shuttle business, have vans that actually function. read more

Called for a reservation the day before. Reserving a shuttle was easy and the person I talked with was very friendly. Next day van was due at 6AM but the driver did not show up. I called the dispatch and they promptly found an alternative van for me. New driver was very charming, and polite. Still, it was a bummer the van was that late. Glad I made my flight! Im kinda torn here. Booked round trip transportation on a recent trip to Boston. The first leg was awful and the second leg was great. Arrived at Logan and walked out to wait for the shuttle to pick me up at my scheduled time. Waited for 20 mins...no shuttle. So i called the # and went through the long & annoying prompts (Press 1 for this, Press 3 for that..blah blah) Operator gets on the line and i explain I have been waiting & no shuttle.. The lady asks if i am standing in the shared ride area. I am not.. my fault im in the hotel shuttle pickup. She says "Oh well you missed your shuttle". I explain that i am standing very close to the shared service pickup and the van would still have had to drive by me to leave the airport. I have been standing here 30mins now and have not seen the shuttle. She says a shuttle is on the way. I walk over to the shared ride pickup and a couple is also waiting for the GO shuttle and they state they have been waiting for 45 mins. I let them know that the operator said a shuttle is on the way.....Yeah... 20 more mins of waiting before the shuttle shows up... 50 mins of waiting to get this shuttle.. I was NOT happy. On the return trip i had a scheduled 4am pickup. The driver showed up early and waited for me outside while i checked out of my hotel. I was the only person in the van so I arrived at the airport early. Driver was professional & courteous. The driver was also funny and we talked the entire trip to the airport. I got out of the shuttle feeling like i have known this guy for years. read more

When I called them and highlighted their website had given me the time, I was told that they are trying to get away from using that feature of their website and it does not really work that well. The trip was long, which is understandable given that it is multiple people with multiple drop-off points. On the return trip, they called me the morning of a 6:00 pm pickup and requested that I make it 5:30 as they were picking several people up from that site. I greed and then at 5:26 that evening I got a call telling me that the driver was outside and he would be leaving in two minutes. My driver was extremely annoyed by the traffic as soon as he picked me up, and it was actually a very uncomfortable experience. He was mumbling and swearing to himself and of course I was the only one in the van, which is usually the best situation! This time it was not. I was really disappointed because I had heard better things about GO Shuttle in comparison to Super Shuttle. But my experience was absolutely awful. My boyfriend booked a shuttle because i told him it was only $35 from our place in Waltham to the airport, and he recieved a text and email communicating that the shuttle would be AN HOUR late picking him up. When one has a flight to catch, an hour is quite a big deal. He never recieved an apology or any sort of incentive to try their service again. He took an Uber instead and had a great experience with them. I will not be using this service again!! read more

Should have looked at the reviews on yelp. I was a solo traveler trying to save money on a cab and this shuttle ran between my hotel and the airport at late hours. Scheduled a pickup for 3:45 am and they called to say it would be arriving at 3:55. Ok I can handle that. Well the 3:55 shuttle didn't arrive until 4:25 am. Save yourself the trouble and either do the back bay shuttle during their hours of operation or just get a taxi. read more

Cheap, shitty service. And that's basically it. Back tire blew out on our way to an event on the side of a busy freeway. The driver, was very calm and changed the tire- but it still took a long time. A couple of my friends who were in the car helped him. Called customer service to get a partial or full refund for the mishap and the women spoke to Rob about the incident. (Rob I suppose is the owner from reading other yelp reviews). Rob would not allow any sort of refund or credit. Women on the phone ended up being extremely rude. Man, this company stinks. But if you're willing to take your chances for cheap ride, could turn out like the 5 stars you see here on other reviews. read more
