Walked in with questions about muscle soreness and looking for the right supplements to help with muscle recovery. The lady at the counter was on her phone and completely ignored me until I had stood there for a moment. When she got off the phone I explained I was sore after leg day for over a week and wanted to know if adding BCAA's to my regimen would help. She shoved something for joint pain across the counter (the was covered in so much random product I had a hard time accessing the card reader) at me and then went on explaining why that's what I was looking for... except it all just sounded like she hadn't heard a word I'd said. I generally don't shop at GNC stores because of the poor service and wildly inflated prices. Today was a great reminder of that. I came in looking for one very specific thing and the entire 5 minutes I was there she kept tying to sell me some other crap after I EXPLICITLY explained that I was only looking for one very exact thing. read more

This is the worst GNC location that I've been to. It's not particularly far from me so I've called there to see if they have certain items. They are rude and abrupt. I did stop in one time and because they are a franchise they said they could not honor the coupon and they had a high-pressure environment. Everyone beware. The lady here tries to scam you! Be very vigilant when she rings you up. She makes up her own prices sometimes. I'm convinced this location isn't selling genuine gnc protein powders either... been coming here for months but I'll never come back again. Please do not buy from this location or any gnc for that matter. I've learned that this franchise puts ridiculous markups on all their products. She scanned it and that's the price that came out then suddenly it changed to $24.99. I got her to match the online price. She's nosy and asks too many questions. I avoided this store for the last 7 or 8 years. I started going here over FIFTEEN YEARS AGO. I STOPPED BECAUSE SHE WAS CREEPY AND BADGERED ME. I continue to forgive the owner for pushing products on me and demanding that I buy them. So, I was out of time and again wanted something from GNC, didn't have time to go to the Haggerty location. I was wrong, she is still terrible, pushy, won't except no, and someone mentioned she makes up prices...I think she does. She got me for about $140 this time, but I'm done! I don't understand how she remains in business. She makes you feel so helpless, she's kind of big, stares you right in the eyes and just intimidates you until you can't take it anymore. Just to get her off your back you will give in and buy whatever crap she is selling just to get out. I seriously will never ever go back to her store. She also just has bad vibes, those who have been in there no what I mean...she's a bit scary. Sorry, this is the worst review I have ever given. I don't take this lightly because people read these reviews. However, GNC needs to know that this woman is badgering people, it's not just selling its abusive and she needs to stop. I wish I had read the reviews before going. I went to buy a certain brand of cbd that worked for a friend. She was abrupt and ended up selling me joint pain pills. I was told to my face I needed to lose weight and buy their shake. I told the clerk she knew nothing about me. Nothing about my health history. I ended up buying the pills with a 39 day guard. They are ok. Not perfect. I may return them. I did not appreciate her attitude. read more

I hate to agree with the other poster but I had the same experience. If you look on google + review it's the same thing. This woman is so rude! I tried to overlook it because she's not outright in-your-face mean... but she ignores everything you ask her. First when I walked in, she was on her cell phone and didn't get off. Then she tried to sell so many things to me. She rang me up without even asking me. I had placed a bunch of things on the counter to try to ask her to do price checks for me because I wasn't sure which protein powder I wanted to buy... and she ended up just trying to charge me for everything! She also kept grabbing things off shelves and telling me I needed it. When another customer came in, she was doing the same and proceeded to ignore me while I still had a lot of questions. She doesn't seem to know much at all about protein powders and a lot of the other products. Just horrible customer service. I hope she can get better or at least hire an employee or two who knows about these things. read more

I am only going back in to get a refund of a product that she charged me double for, and that I found on Amazon at half the cost. I do not often write reviews but I could not let my experience pass without sharing. In my life I have NEVER had such terrible customer service or interaction with an employee. The employee working was so rude and failed to help me at all, in fact acting as if I was bothering her when asking questions. She remained on a personal call the entire time I was in the store. When asked she "claimed" it was a work related call with a customer but clearly it was not as she was on her cell phone. She was unkind, confrontational and will be the only reason I never return to that store and highly encourage others to steer clear. As a professional in the healthcare industry I only hope none of my employees ever treat a customer like this! read more

I felt cheated! The moment I walked in, the store lady upon learning what I needed picked up these two gigantic bottles of the vitamins I needed and walked me to the counter. I kept repeating I needed smaller bottles but this lady as if she couldn't understand what i was saying, kept telling me how good these vitamins were, great price and everything else to distract me, but answer my question which i kept repeating - I want smaller bottles. In the meantime I had given her a gift card to check how much amount was left on it and she made a transaction while I was searching for smaller bottles. I pointed out a smaller bottle to her and she said ' That's 200mg, you need 100mg'. And then I pointed out a 100mg bottle to her and she says 'I have done the transaction already'. I said well can you refund? Which she did but she didn't return my gift card ($25). I made rest of the payment with credit card. I was so upset and feeling bad that I just couldn't say anything becuase she was serving other customers and wasn't listening to me. I walked out of the shop feeling absolutely cheated and dejected. read more

This was the first time I visited this gnc and the last. When I went to buy my whey I asked if it was on sale and was told no, it's 99.00--I have always paid around 50. When I got home I checked online and it was in fact on sale for 53.00. I am returning the product tomorrow and will never visit this gnc again. read more

I entered the store and there was no one to greet me. I wondered around and in about 5 minutes the lady came from the back stock room. She was on her cell phone and never greeted me. After finding the products I was interested in (with no help from her) I proceeded to check out. Well, she was still on the phone. I went ahead and asked my question because it seemed she was on hold. She was not saying anything. She answered me very snobbish and acted like I was disturbing her. Okay...I asked her another question regarding a shaker cup and she actually shrugged me off...in other words, who cares. Do what ever you want lady. I couldn't believe her unprofessionalism. I go to this particular gnc because it is close to where I live. After that day I will go out of my way to another gnc where I can get caring staff who are not holding a cell phone to their ear and who can answer my questions without me feeling I'm a bother...customer gone for good !!! read more
