The restaurant itself is very minimalistic. The walls are all white with a green accent. It's very clean feeling. The staff was fantastic! They are very friendly and helpful. We got an açaí bowl to share and it was great! I'm not an expert on them but I enjoyed it. I will note that I did share this with my two year old; thus, this would not be my typical solo order. Realistically, the only reason she tried this bowl was because I told her it was ice cream and added some bright toppings! My daughter loved her "ice cream" and ate it up. I really enjoyed it as well and there was plenty leftover. I think the price was very reasonable. I really want to try one of their teas or shakes. They all sounded tasty and were low calories. Finally, I wanted to mention that it was a bit loud in the seating area. They blend the shakes right there so the blender does make a typical loud noise. It's nothing crazy but I thought it was important to mention for those families who have kids with sensory issues. I would go again!

Bored at work so I started googling places to eat. It's a sweltering summer day so I'm thinking,…read morehmm, a smoothie sounds pretty good. Well, not very many smoothie places on the north side, so this place popped up. It caught my attention because yeah these are milkshakes, but they're....healthy? Weird, but I'm down. Walked in to an empty establishment, but was promptly greeted by the owner. I looked over the menu--they have a lot of shakes!--and chose the Banana creme pie..(?) banana pudding shake..(?)..Idk it was banana. While the girl crafted my "healthy" shake (there's like 24g or protein, vitamins and minerals, and less than 300 calories [I know right]), the owner and I had a nice chat about travel. ANYWAYS the shake: I was informed it tasted like banana pudding which, I mean, is amazing. It was garnished with what I assumed were vanilla wafers and dried bananas. It indeed tasted like banana pudding! Very good, very filling. A bit of an aftertaste (think diet soda), but I didn't mind it at all. They also give you a free in-house crafted iced tea with every shake! I got raspberry-mango-aloe. Delightful! All in all, I will be going back. They have so many flavors so there's no shortage of options. Check it out this summer! 9/10 would recommend.

I'm a fan! I came to this market one Saturday afternoon because I was in need of some local honey…read morefor my allergies. As we know, local honey is much better and more beneficial than store bought honey. The Frenchtown Farmer's Market is rather small. I would actually say it is smaller than the one out by Thomasville. However, the fresh produce and other goods are great....great quality and great price that is. I saw foods such as watermelons, sweet potato, tomatoes, okra, onions, and beans. There was also some great local honey from Walter, the bee keeper. He had some freshly cut sourdough bread for us to try the honey before purchasing. He had honey both with and without the honeycomb and they were $10 each. He also had some candles that were made out of bee pollen and said those, too were good for allergy sufferers. There was a stand where a lady was selling boiled peanuts; both spicy and non spicy. I saw some t-shirts for sale as well as some artwork. What I appreciated most was that there were people from different ethnic backgrounds and different ages. Everyone was so nice....it's not all the time you walk down the street and are greeted by everyone. There was even a young women set up street side who offered us some free water and free slices of watermelons. Many of the neighbors were sitting on their porches people watching and striking conversations with passersby. Although this is not a place where I could "stock up" on all the produce I desire, it is a great place to stop in to purchase a few items. I love that this market is still around and that some of the culture and history of Frenchtown is being preserved.
