They're friendly and helpful and not too in my business (which is a tough line to walk). I can usually find things I want among the Lane Bryant clothes. The prices are a little high (as is true for almost all plus size clothing), but there are frequent and meaningful discounts, so be sure to keep track of the mailers that will definitely come (with 15-20% off coupons, always). Probably the biggest reason I like Maverik's is for the almost always clean bathrooms. Having a reliable place to go when you're on the go is important to me. On top of that, the hot food section is pretty decent in terms of selection and during certain hours, you can order food from the grill. I really like their selection of granola/protein bars too. If you find yourself frequenting Maverik locations, I definitely recommend becoming a rewards member. It's free! You can stock up points for things you normally buy and work your way to free snacks and sodas. Whenever I'm on the road and need to stop somewhere, Maverik's is almost always my first pick if it's close.

They also told me their store specials so I would be aware of them. As I was shopping the racks, the manager came by and greeted me, and asked if she could be of help. The staff seemed attentive, friendly, and asked customers if they can get a room started for them for the items they wanted to try on. But sometimes I don't know what I want, and it helps to see inventory in person. This store does carry a variety of toys, lingerie and novelty items-just what I was hoping. When I visited recently, I was greeted, but not offered assistance. The lady at the counter was having a conversation with a friend-I could tell she was fun and I'd love to talk to her, but didn't want to interrupt. When we went to the counter with our purchase, the friend left and the woman started chatting with us. She was cheerful and friendly and seemed to appreciate the business. If she had offered assistance when we got there, we likely would have bought more. There were a few items we were looking at and would have liked to understand how they worked, etc. But we didn't want to interrupt her, so bought just the one item. The shoe selection here is fabulous! There were several pair that I loved-they were relatively conservative for a store like this. I you're not looking for adult items, but want some amazing vintage style shoes, at least stop by for those!
