Even with the recent increases in delivery charges for fresh groceries with an added tip, the service is helpful to me. I am a semi-invalid for whom travel is by public transit and difficult. I think Whole Foods beats everyone but Costco and actually beats them for my needs. Whole Food products are as good as they ever were. Allegro coffees are top shelf. Produce is fresh-always. Prepare meals are expensive but fairly priced. Fresh baked breads are terrific. Cheese selections are a boon. The speciality cheese department IS wonderful. Frozen goods are varied and delicious. I can usually get grocery delivery eat a time. convenient to me. That mean a lot to me. Baton Rouge CATS does not stop conveniently near Whole Foods-well, it is near but hard to reach from the store. In inflationary times, we wonder about our ability afford groceries, but as long as I am able, I hope to access Whole Foods Market. I am thankful I live near a Wholes Foods Market. I have not shopped in person now for several years. I do not know how in store service is. I used to stop the Junior League types who shopped there. I would say they looked like they worked for Whole Foods and then asked from directions. Whole Foods is head and takes superior to Target, Rouses, and Walmart. It is still a great resource.

I'm glad I did as this place brought back some nostalgia to me as there used to be a Fresh Market in Loudoun County, VA where I used to live before closing to make way for a Trader Joe's. Lovely seeing different meals from different cuisines. And of course the deli area where you can get sandwiches, ready-made sides, and pizza. And the ready-made salads and wraps as well. And then there's a candy section and coffee area with fresh coffee beans; oh I should've grabbed something from there! I left with several items that included a 6 piece order of wings, side of dirty rice, veggie gyoza dumplings, and a curry chicken salad. All of which made for a great meal since I could pick numerous items that wouldn't break the bank. I wanted to try the calzones but I knew it would be too heavy for me. Definitely next time! While helping the customer they goof around and focus most of their attention on talking to a fellow employee to the point of distraction from the task at hand and taking twice as long to perform a task as they should secondary to the distraction of carrying on a conversation with their fellow employee This also can result in inputing the wrong prices while weighing out food. I would highly recommend there be a more mature individual with good professionalism supervising/working at that particular counter because that alone can make me hesitant to return to TFM which other than the above complaints is one of my fav BR stores. I hesitated to write this review until I consistently observed this behavior over the past six months with a high turnover of employees in that particular area of the store so I imagine it must be a struggle to get well trained individuals to work behind the deli counter.
