I thought I was in the Rockies based on the rocky start it the meal but the charming maître d righted the ship at this rustic alpine chic eatery. Beautiful paintings portray the heroic struggles of the Austrian people. Call at least one day in advance for fondue or spare ribs - their specialties. Our dining crew had the noodle soup, salad, cheese fondue and a veggie dish. The cheese fondue was solid - presented with pretzels, pearl onions, grapes, baby corn, pickles and hot peppers. The cheese was well liked by 3 out of 4 people and tasted very similar to other fondue restaurants. All enjoyed the meal. Kompliments to the kaiser for the solid Apple strudel - one of only two desserts offered since it was 10pm when we were ready for dessert. read more
