Leider kann ich GLS nicht empfehlen. Trotz einer Abholgenehmigung wurde mein Paket einfach nicht zugestellt. Auch beim Verfolgen der Sendung konnte ich sehen, dass der Fahrer gar nicht in unseren Ort kommt. Das ist besonders enttäuschend, da es sich um ein wichtiges Paket für mein Geschäft handelte. Zusätzlich ist es frustrierend, dass ich telefonisch niemanden erreichen kann, weder im Geschäftskundenportal noch über die private Hotline. Meine Erfahrung mit GLS ist eine absolute Katastrophe. Mein Paket (Sendungsnummer 430104427233) sollte am 19.09.2025 zugestellt werden - bis heute habe ich es nicht erhalten. GLS behauptet dreimal, ich wäre nicht zu Hause gewesen. Das ist schlichtweg eine Lüge: ich war jedes Mal da, niemand hat geklingelt, niemand war hier. Jetzt liegt mein Paket in Tornesch - 70 km von meiner Adresse entfernt. Soll ich ernsthaft 70 km fahren, nur weil die Zusteller keine Lust haben, ihre Arbeit zu machen? Ich habe mehrfach Beschwerde eingereicht, Hotline angerufen, sogar Zusagen bekommen, dass es endlich geliefert wird. Aber jedes Mal wieder: keine Lieferung. Null Zuverlässigkeit, null Kundenorientierung. Das ist nicht nur unprofessionell, sondern respektlos. Ich kann GLS wirklich niemandem empfehlen. Fazit: Finger weg von GLS, wenn man sein Paket tatsächlich bekommen möchte. read more

It's the third time that it happened. This time I took a screenshot to each step of the supposed "fail delivery". At 13:20 the driver was 10 stops away. From 13:47 to 14:01 two stops. Just to mark me as absent from home at 14:02. I was sitting close to the bell to be sure not to miss it. But no delivery was attempted. I live after the shop where they drop their packages for pickup so I assume that's why it never arrives here since the driver stops there drop the packages and ignores completely what comes after. They are the worst delivery company I ever had to work with. And trust me when I say it because been to Brazil and USA but gls is by far the company with the least honest employees read more

This is a if I could give zero stars I would company. Where do I start? Pickup- if you schedule a pick up they may come, but probably not. And if no, they will say they did and that no one was there. Billing- if you don't pay your invoice ASAP they will lock you out if your account, therefore losing ALL ability to pay. Then you can call them, but they won't answer. Eventually they'll give you 7 hours to access your account and update expired credit card, only after reaching out via email and waiting, A LOT I've been on hold with them for 3-5 business days so far. Are they worse than UPS though? I don't know read more

Asked them 3x to text me when delivery arrives, they never heed to your request. I called to track a package, agent can't find it (FedEx uses GLS to deliver their packages). Been using the FedEx app trying to track the package to no avail, keeps saying cannot locate the door tag # which was written on the tag when the delivery driver arrived. Got a separate delivery, I input the tracking # from the bag, that's the ONLY time I was able to track the delivery-AFTER it was delivered! WTF I know UPS, Amazon, USPS, you can track the path of your package from beginning to the time it's delivered to your doorstep. Kept calling FedEx too, can't connect with an agent because the DT# they issued us won't come up, therefore you can't talk to an agent. Tried calling since 1-27, that's 3 days trying to reach an agent. I've been home ALL day awaiting the 3rd attempted delivery, as of 6:39 PM, no text and the package hasn't arrived. Bet they gave up on us and reshipped the package back to the sender. I've been waiting since 9:40 AM, 1-29-24. When the other package was delivered I gave them a scathing review on all the waste of time trying to talk to an agent but you can't because the door tag# won't come up which was issued by them and all the ineptness, frustration and lack of good customer care. Wished the sender would use USPS or UPS or DHL. Any courier is better then this crap one! read more

This shipping service is terrible. They lie about attempted deliveries and take forever to respond to emails. If you have to use them so be it.If you have a choice DO NOT use this delivery service. 1 star is way more than I'd like to give them read more

Over 2 hrs of wait time for customer service to pick up. Then 3 separate chat sessions. Process started at 700 am. Now 11:13 am. No one can give me an e t a from their truck departing their facility 20 miles from our company. Best answer is by 500pm. B team delivery company. Sucks read more

I wish I could leave a 0 star review. I hope the phone advisor I spoke with is fired. I called today regarding a door tag. I was on hold for over 25 minutes and was connected to "Zack". I told Zack that this was my first experience was GLS and I was frustrated. I then proceeded to explain that a door tag was left at my apartment building with no unit number or recipient name. I said that I was frustrated that I needed to spend half an hour on the phone to determine if it was mine or not because they don't reattempt to residential addresses. He said he didn't know where I heard that but it is wrong. I proceeded to read him the back of the door tag. "Residential deliveries will be held at our distribution center pending instructions from you, the recipient". I expected that he would apologize for not knowing the policies then proceed to help me with my problem. Although frustrated, I was not rude, angry, or abusive to him. Instead of resolving the situation he said "Fucking Cunt" and hung up on me! I am beyond shocked!! I'm now back on hold (15 more mins so far) to followup with a manager and hopefully get proof of disciplinary action against this horrible representative. The delivery person doesn't know how to follow delivery instructions so I had to wait the next day for my package. And now they're hours late from the latest I was told they would deliver. Still waiting on my package that I should've received yesterday. Terrible terrible experience. I'm not purchasing from the store just so I can avoid having GLS deliver my stuff again. First & last time. I've read so many other stories about them losing packages, keeping people on hold for hours, and months later people still haven't gotten a resolution. read more

I wish I didn't have to give this company a star. We have a subscription to a monthly meat delivery company. This month they used a different shipping company than Fed Ex. We never heard of GLS and I am guessing now we know why. We live in Las Vegas, our shipment has been in Las Vegas since 6/9 and we have not received it yet. It keeps getting delayed because of 'missed pickup time'. REALLY? My package scanned into their system on last Wednesday (Nov 30), stating the delivery would be on Friday (Dec 02). As always, it was delayed somewhere. It is now next Wednesday (Nov 7). After 7 days, it finally shows that the parcel is out for delivery. What I do not understand is that how come FedEx can always deliver in 2 days for the same route, while GLS (presumably, Global Lame Service) take 7-10 days. And this is not the first occurrence. It happened so many times before. I finally reached my shipper and asked them to not to use GLS for my packages. My humble advice: if your purchase would be handled by GLS, do not buy. You would thank me later. read more

Meanwhile, fabricated and misleading information is posted in the tracking, and even a week after they claim the packages were "lost," the tracking info keeps showing there's a delivery coming. Their customer service agents (on the rare occasion you can reach one) are rude, and really don't like being called out for dishonesty, but the proof is in the article above. Bottom line: Find another shipping company. These guys are clowns. read more

This company is a scam. They list my package as "delivered" while at the same time the tracking form says "package missing". Like many other users, I was home at the alleged delivery time and no delivery was made. Clearly the company is stealing packages and claiming they've been delivered. I couldn't get hold of anyone by phone, chat, or email, which may be a blessing in disguise considering the rude and unhelpful behavior other customers have described after contacting customer service. read more

This company was used to deliver a cell phone. They claimed to have attempted delivery but stated they could not get past a security gate which there is none. For several days they kept updated the tracking that the delivery would be rescheduled. I finally called the cell phone company and they were told by GLS that the phone was lost. Horrible customer service and obviously the delivery drivers are not honest. read more

The worst service I have ever experienced in my life is GLS. They didn't deliver my mattress since past 5 days they said they will deliver it. They even sent me a mail on Friday saying they will deliver it today being 21.08.2023 and I had to cancel my work today waiting for them just for them to say that they will not deliver it today when I called them this evening I have been sleeping on the floor because of this. This is the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. God forbid I buy things from Otto and they send it with this service. I wish I can give 0 star because they don't deserve 1 star read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Absolutely the worst service. Delivery scheduled. Doesn't happen. Call to re-schedule delivery. Never happens. Promise to call you back with updates. Never happens. It's on the truck out for delivery. Not. Call back and re-schedule. Doesn't happen. Over and over and over again. Finally called and requested to go pick it up myself at the local warehouse. The customer service supervisor called the warehouse to make sure it was there so I wouldn't waste my time. The warehouse couldn't locate the package. Still waiting on a call back confirming they have located it. My hopes are not high that this will ever be resolved. read more

A package was shipped through this company from one of the vendors I ordered from it's been sitting in the same city for two days without being delivered when I type in the tracking number it says not found and instead of saying in transit or out for delivery it just says exception whatever the heck that means! I tried calling customer service since I could get no help from their website but sat on hold so long I finally gave up which I don't give up easily this company is inadequate at best I will always make sure none of my shipments are being shipped through this company before I even order anything very unhappy! read more

This is the worst shipping company I have ever dealt with. We are a business and rely on GLS/ GSO to deliver our packages on time. For some reason that never happens... My business is getting a poor reputation because of GLS. The drivers never have a clue and are extremely lazy. read more

Do NOT let the name fool you. The company still behaves exactly ow GSO does. Have a business you run & operate? Then expect your packages to arrive late or not at all. Pretty sure GSO tried to escape their bad reputation by changing their name but they still are exactly the same. A TERRIBLE company. It takes a LOT for me to leave a company a bad review but you guys got the icing on the cake now. Get it together. And learn how to communicate on package delivery. 3 times in a row I have received the same bad service. My shipment is 5 days behind on schedule. The shipment is work related. I will never authorize their service again. It would be great if Yelp would add a zero star option specifically for GLS. Don't ever use them. They lie, the trash shipments, they are flakey and if you call their customer service hopefully you don't get Sharon. She is as rude as they come. Avoid this company at all cost. read more

Unfortunately modern times beer uses this company to deliver beer. A friend sent a quarantine gift First delivery attempt a man showed up and said "I have package what's your name?" There was a lot of back and forth attitude and demand for my ID, Sounds a little odd and aggressive during a quarantine with scams going on in the neighborhood (Burbank), plus I have yet to hear of Gls at this point. So I sent him away. Second attempt I open my door to get my mail and see a missed delivery note on my door. I live in a small apartment. I can hear farts and nose blowing from the neighbors, there's no way I can't hear a knock or doorbell ring! It was raining, so I'm assuming they quickly checked the boxes and stuck it on the door. I called Gls customer service and set up a delivery window for the next day between 12-4 pm. It actually showed up.....at 8am! I didn't even sign for the package my fiancé did! Now I am finally reading all the bad reviews in various websites. If any company or person is smart enough to do their research before entrusting a company to deliver their goods for them don't stop at these reviews. There are much more review sites that tell similar horror stories about GLS. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. Tracking said delayed I reached out several times over the week it was delayed recieved nothing back. Called into customer service after a very long wait I was notified my package was in fact lost and I should contact the company for a refund. Tracking has said delayed the entire time. Customer service was also very short and rude with me. I will absolutely avoid ordering anything that ships through this company. read more

Paid extra to have my order delivered in 1-2 days. When it didn't arrive on the estimated delivery date, 01/17, I contacted GLS customer service and was told it was due to a weather event. Sorry, that's a NO GO! The only weather event along the I-5 corridor thru Northern California and Oregon passed a couple of days beforehand and travel restrictions had been lifted on 01/16. No one holds these delivery services/couriers accountable when they don't meet the expected service levels that the customer paid for. They just say, weather related and people swallow it. BS! Should at least have been offered a partial refund for the cost of shipping. Avoid GLS at all costs. Something tells me they're never on time read more

My Order was supposed to be delivered today. I received a text at 12:47pm telling me that my package was out for delivery. I never received a text nor call, nor attempt, but now the delivery status is changed to Monday and it says they attempted the delivery at 1:26pm. I have been waiting on the delivery all week. Last week, this same package was delivered to another address and I never received it. This time I was not notified of the attempt. Needless to say, I am VERY unsatisfied with this pathetic service. read more

I have a subscription to Butcher Box as I am home bound. And can't go grocery shopping, and the convenience was amazing. (Another subscription for produce, but I digress.) Recently Butcher Box has switched from DHL to GLS, and since doing so I've had one box arrive damaged, which caused the contents to defrost, and this time, the package was not delivered! It was marked as delivered, with a photo that /was/ not my apartment, and without any recognizable details. The customer service gave me a run around. The driver told CS said they tried to contact me to day, no phone call, no knock on the door. They apparently said I wasn't home. I HAVEN'T LEFT HOME SINCE THE PANDEMIC BEGAN. If this repeats, I'll have to cancel my subscription to Butcher Box just so GLS won't get paid to not deliver to my address anymore. read more

Do not under and circumstance choose to ship or receive packages from GLS. 4/30 Thursday -They said they could not deliver due to a security gate. I have no security gate. I said perhaps the driver is not looking at the address numbers and his GPS is incorrect. 5/1 Friday- They said they attempted but had the wrong address. The address is correct and I have had deliveries here for 10 years. 5/2 Saturday- I was told delivery would be between 8AM-5PM. I called and was told delivery was rescheduled for 5/4 as they were moving their warehouse. 5/4 Monday I received a phone call saying they forgot to put package on their truck and would deliver tomorrow. Seriously? I am a nurse. If I were this negligent people would suffer and die. I have called the company I ordered from and asked them to reship using a different company. Enough is enough. read more

Used to be GSO now GLS still never deliver a package on time. I do t get why they can't get their crap together and deliver a package on time. I've had probably a hundred packages that shipped because the seller used GSO/GLS and I bet less than 10 of them showed up on time. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! First my package got put on the wrong truck, and that caused one day delay. Then they reschedule my delivery again after delivery "ATTEMPTED", despite I have given them my phone number to call me. Nobody EVER called me that day! And even so they could have still left the package at the front door and update the tracking status. Then when I try calling the customer service, the line does not go through. I emailed them and all they can tell me is my order is RESCHEDULED AGAIN for delivery, which is information that I can see on my tracking. This is the FORTH time they reschedule it and it was supposed to be delivery on 2/23/2021. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GLS to any company for delivery services. read more

1 star is way too much! Ordered wine from a winery in Temecula, CA. They offered free shipping. Yes! Now I am held hostage at my house with no delivery window. Adult signature required for wine. Emailed twice, no reply. Called them up... oh my call is very important to them. 25 minutes later someone finally answered. With no information. So I wait. They assure me someone from tracking will call me. I do not have high hopes! read more

The driver supposedly came to my house and had said that someone refused delivery. I was watching the door and someone was out front the whole time. No driver ever attempted to make a delivery. May have been at the wrong address, no clue but no attempt. I called and they had me reschedule for the next day asking what delivery window I wanted. I choose an early window of 8am-10am. On the tracking page, says expected delivery is 2pm. Let us see how it goes Some service read more

This is the worst delivery company I've ever delted with--- two customer service people were nice the rest very rude, they take hours to answer put you on hold then they disconnect you -- The packages do not get delivered to you I'm going on a third delivery again from a food company --- and whats very strange is that I get deliveries from Amazon, chewy's, urber eats, Lyft, Fed ex, UPS they all find me but Hmmmm... the, GLS cant find my house I live in los angeles in a regular neighborhood ---Upper management she never introduced herself I had to ask her who she was she started out ok but was really worthless for helping then ended up turning very sour --- terrible company I hope they lose the account I'm ordering from or I probably will be forced to go with someone else that doesn't use them read more

HORRIBLE. Got my address wrong, even though all documents say otherwise. Then pretended to deliver it to a shop 2.5 kilometers from my house - after 2 days it was gone to a warehouse, that is impossible to reach via phone. Pretending it's not their fault, even though the sending company received a photo of my package from them in a horrible state with broken products inside. They keep claiming they cannot find it, even though they clearly did. The package is in my city, they provided a ridiculously bad service and will NEITHER deliver my broken package NOR provide a refund. The worst packaging service I have ever experienced. read more

The delivery people are flat out liars. I have liquor sent to me and this is the only shipping company the place I order from uses. It takes at least a week of "missed" deliveries to get the package every time. Today, they were absolutely busted lying about an attempted delivery. I was outside in the front yard right in-between the front and garage door when the supposed delivery was attempted. Absolutely despicable, horrible, good for nothing, dishonest company. I called in and was on hold and then someone who was sniffling juicy snot noises answered. I said "hello? Is this the shipping company?" He said..."yeh sorry GLS how can I help you?" ....unreal. read more

The delivery driver should at least KNOCK when they deliver. With all the Porch Pirates around theses days people don't like to leave their packages on the porch any longer than necessary. I don't think that would really put him behind schedule. or are they just lazy? read more

I ordered from Seattle Coffee Gear, and they use this company for delivery. I was pleasantly surprised that after the order was shipped, the delivery day was one day earlier than I thought. Despite the COVID-19 situation, I got my package in time and when scheduled! read more
