This review is super long overdue. I just had my 1 year anniversary and I was watching the…read moregorgeous videos our videographer created for my husband and me on our wedding day. Bless his heart! I was reminded of how Elena transformed me through her hair and makeup artistry. The busyness of life got me and it had escaped me to write about my experience with the lovely Miss Elena. I will start out by saying that I feel wedding hair and makeup services are far different from services for a formal event. There is the pressure and burden of not only getting ready for one's wedding day, but also hosting wedding guests and ensuring everything goes without a hitch. While I met Elena first thing in the AM, already several things had not gone according to plan and the threat of rain was looming over our outdoor wedding with no real backup plan. Needless to say, I was already tremendously stressed even before I met with her. Elena has a magical calming energy. She helped me restore my inner peace as we were getting ready; this was so key in helping me to reset my day to pace myself for the rest of the day. She reminded me to let go of things I cannot control and enjoy my wedding day. I can't thank her enough for that. It was so clear she has a ton of experience. I felt like I was glowing on my wedding day because I felt confident in my hair and makeup. She took into consideration my color for my makeup and for my hair, the fact that the day would be windy and possibly rainy. My makeup and hair stayed on perfectly until the end of the evening. Honestly, barely any touch up was necessary. I would absolutely recommend Elena for makeup hair and services and if a formal event calls for it, I would reach out to Elena again for her services! Thank you Elena!

OK I love her. So I'm biased…read more I met Natasha a good four years ago, through a Yelp review. I had been on a serious hunt for a a great hairdresser and she happened to be close to my workplace. I have never strayed from Natasha (unless you count me trimming my bangs once in awhile. I get lazy). Not only is she amazing and only uses the top stuff (scissors, hair product, attitude) but she's great to talk to. To date, Natasha has been through three of my jobs and four ex boyfriends and have helped me navigate through all of successfully (I'm not kidding). Haircuts are relaxing and go by so fast when we have so much to catch up on. In all seriousness, my haircuts last for at least 4 months. I always get long layers and the haircut gets better as time goes on. I always joke with Natasha that she shouldn't make her haircuts last so long but I know she can't do anything less than the best. I've had short hair, long hair, blunt bangs, long bangs, bangs to the side; everything has worked out for the best. I've done highlighting with her as well and it looks great even when its grown out (I am lazy. again.). I liked it so much that I did it again recently. Last time I came in, we were the last ones there at around 8 PM. She was so sweet, not only squeezing me in when I requested an appointment a week prior, but she also stayed late! All in all, always a great time. My long hair haircuts come out to about $80 which, I think, is a great deal if you think its about $20 a month. Coloring and haircuts come out to about $225 (I think it's dependent on hair length and craziness of coloring). I've recommended her to friends and they have become faithful customers too!

I am loving the compliments. If you want your friends to swoon over your new youthful look, book an appointment with Natasha, and make sure you purchase her BB cream to make your skin just as dazzling as your hair. While she sounded confident and promising over text, my experience at her studio was a NIGHTMARE that costed me a whooping $400, and ended in me sobbing on my way out. I wanted a soft warm non-bleach brunette balayage (since my ends were already blonde). Prior to my appointment I was informed that she could achieve the look using high lift color. However during my appointment she changed her mind, added bleach and still FAILED to achieve the results she has promised me. (I had asked for a strand test before starting? she said it would take an hour) My hair was ORANGE after the first wash and when I insisted that it was not like what she had promised me, she had me tone my hair to a dark brown that isn't even visible on my already dark hair. I had extremely high expectations but was left crying after having my hair destroyed. Worst of all the cost of having hair that I NEVER asked for, was $400!! Along with a lengthy discussion on how it was MY FAULT I asked for a non-bleach color!! Mind you, she had NO references or color swatches for me to look at. As a stylist, she fails to communicate to clients and set real realistic expectations that a client should expect to receive. She has done a huge disservice, and I will not be going there ever again if you're reading this, save your money and choose a different stylist that understands your needs and is willing to help you get there.
