The wood paneling and decor reminiscent of some island shack somewhere. I opted for a spray tan because the place I usually go had no openings. The gal who did my tan was efficient and the tan itself was the best spray tan I received anywhere all summer. The reason I took away a star is because the place felt like the last time it was clean was in the 90s. I felt a little grimy but I walked away a bronze goddess so I'll take it. I honestly wish I knew more about the options they offer now, but when I was asking questions at the front desk, I kinda felt like I was annoying the girl working there. So I just kept it simple and went with the basic spray. To be fair, she was working solo and there was a pretty long line, so maybe she was just overwhelmed, I didn't take it personally. The spray tan machine worked great, and the color came out awesome! It lasted about a week or two before it started fading, which was exactly what I expected. Next time I think I'll try the smaller location closer to my house, hopfully it's a little more relaxed and I can take more time to ask about the newer stuff.

Now, her small office is located inside a bulding where other beauty treatments are provided. Her room looks dark, there's no place for you to undress (so you have to undress in front of her), and a lot of beauty products are scattered everywhere. The reason why I'm giving her 3 stars is because communication wasn't the best. She only communicates through text msgs. Never picks up the phone. Her door is always closed and you have to text her that you're there for her to open it. And although she was nice while providing her treatments, she also seemed stressed or with an attitude. More over, she dislikes if you reschedule often. In her own words "too many people rescheduling or cancelling is exhausting," so she prefers if you "go somewhere else." To end, I really enjoyed the results of the treatments. They made my skin smoother and felt a little tighter. I do recommend you doing the micro current treatments, however I don't think I recommend you going to NuYu. The experience can be somewhat frustrating and awkward.

Typically these symptoms only last 1 or 2 days but mine lasted about 1 week. However, once my skin cleared up the results were great.
