Very rude. Came to get a key fab programmed. Completely different prices than what they told over the phone almost double. Definitely just overcharged because we're young. Go somewhere else cheaper and nicer to customers. Update: Gave us a refund for what we were overcharged, the one who gave us the refund was super kind the boy who overcharged was conveniently not around. read more

Very helpful the two times I've stopped here. 1st time they couldn't help me get a key for an old wardrobe we purchased used online but he did point me to a place in town that was able to help me with a key. Sec. time I was needing 2 keys cut for my husbands truck. Although the key did work we had to put the key in facing a certain direction. ask to get key cut not programmed, tried to charge $75. last time i had my key cut they fucked it up. don't recommend.

I lost the key to my car and i called Glovers and the gentleman i talked to took down my number and address. Said he would be there between 1-4pm. He never came or called me. After 4pm i called and he said. He wrote my number down. Long story short. The guy came first thing in the morning. Made a key for my car no issues. Then he made a key for my motorcycle for no extra charge because he messaged up the day before. They made a mistake owned it and fixed it. Best customer service. Friendly,fast,reasonable!! My husband & I went in last month(Feb. 2019) to have a couple vehicle keys made after he found this place. I bet we weren't in there 45 minutes. -They make your key -They test it out for you -You're done That was our personal experience. This place doesn't even deserve one star. We just purchased our first home on may 5. 2021 and need the doorS keyed. They have been to our house 3 times In one month because the pins inside the locks keep falling and jamming the locks causing the keys not to work . We have been locked out of our home 3 times . And all they can say is there is nothing they can do because it's a manufacturing issue. WELL IF THATS THE CASE JUST STOP USING THOSE DAMN LOCKS AND GET BETTER ONES. If anybody ever needs to call a Locksmith, I would highly recommend Glover's Lock Service On the flip-side, stay the heck away from Jerry's Lock and Key. Why? Because tonight, our 3 year old locked himself inside the apartment when we had brought him outside to sit on the porch with us, and he ran inside and locked the deadbolt. We didn't even know he knew how to do it...and it only took him a few seconds. Great fine motor skills, bad time to demonstrate them! We absolutely cannot afford a locksmith right now (not until my fiance's stipend for school kicks in); we had no idea what to do. At first we called 911 since * was locked inside, but none of the officers were equipped to pop the deadbolt. So we started calling around for locksmiths who were willing to bill. We explained the situation to Jerry's Lock and Key first: that a toddler was inside alone and asked him if he would bill us. We were willing to provide as much information as possible, and it's not like he wouldn't know where we live, lol! The guy's response "Either have the cash up front or I'm not coming out". Glover's was contacted next, and he not only came out, but was kind and courteous. He doesn't charge an arm and a leg either, so we'll be able to pay him back sooner than we had thought.
