She's very easy to work with, and knowledgeable about homes and the quirks they may come with. She was on site during our home inspection to make sure she knew everything that was going on before we proceeded with the purchase. Evelyn and her team made the process so easy that I was questioning if I was doing something wrong, but she made sure everything was how it should be. I highly recommend NestEgg for any First time buyer.

After going back and forth, they said they could meet at 11 am on Saturday. Now, Saturday came, my husband was in the online meeting room, but nobody showed up. He waited for 30 minutes there and ended the online meeting. Now, after he left home, Evelyn called him and said she had forgotten the meeting, with no legitimate reason. And after wasting part of his weekend, she told him that they only offer the full management service and do not help just with finding a tenant. The purview of their service is fine; that is their choice, but this could certainly be communicated via email instead of going through this unprofessional and disrespectful experience. I was surprised to find many great reviews about this company, which was good for them, but I guess our need wasn't lucrative enough for them to care if you can drop a meeting they scheduled without giving a legitimate reason.

The response on this review is incorrect. Unfortunately instead of accepting their mistake and…read moreapology they justify their mistakes and this is the theme with the general manager, my agent and this response here. Again my agent gave me WRONG information. I am attaching a picture of his text and you can see that clearly he did not know about our non- homestead tax until July. The picture is for after I confronted him that the initial information he gave me was incorrect. Also we wrote our own objection letter with ZERO advice or help from our agent. He just shared our letter with the seller and did not negotiate those items, We Did. He even had no idea we are getting a new furnace. I told him that if he asked about that in advance we would pay the difference to install a high efficiency furnace rather than an 80% and he admitted he had no idea. Our agent tried to accommodate our constraints when it came to giving us tours. After we withdrew from our first offer (since the house turned out to be modular in the inspection), many texts and calls went unanswered or were answered really late. we value knowledge and considering Buyer's benefit in a buyer's agent (rather than early closing) unfortunately our relator John did not fully meet our expectation in that regard. If you are okay with receiving the wrong information you can choose them. Below I describe our experience with our agent : For the property that we purchased, I noticed the high taxes and asked him about the reason before making an offer. He mentioned it is because the property is non-homestead and we can change this status right after closing to prevent higher taxes. Given his incomplete and in my mind false information, I thought we can homestead the property and avoid high taxes right after closing. When I reviewed the taxes around the closing time I noticed that we are paying the high taxes and told him about miss informing me. He mentioned that it is only a three-month extra tax until Dec +/-$700 and was not worth negotiating. Again he was wrong because I called the township and noticed that the summer tax is still non-homestead and I cannot change that until July of next year. Long story short, either he genuinely did not know about this tax issue or he misinformed us. Both of which are unacceptable for an experienced realtor.

This is strictly a review of DIANE HUDZIK!…read more I was introduced to Diane by a family friend. I was a bit nervous as this was my first home purchase. I was surprised by how incredibly personable, attentive, and flexible Diane was during our first meeting, which was on a Sunday morning. Right away, she addressed our concerns and needs. We even went to see two homes that afternoon. We were able to reach Diane by phone, e-mail, and by text. We NEVER had any communication issues- Diane was always prompt to respond, and that's only if she already wasn't one step ahead of you by e-mailing you answers to questions you hadn't even thought of yet. During home showings, she pointed out areas which concerned her that we didn't pick up on, which I was very thankful for. She recommended several contingencies to put into the contract when we found the right home to ensure that we were protected. Her advice were honest, unbiased, and clear. During closing, Diane was with us during the entire process. The seller actually told us that there was another offer on the table- the only reason the seller chose to us was because of Diane's courteous and professional demeanor. If she's in the business next time we buy a house, I know exactly who I'll be calling. If you're in the South East Michigan area and you're looking for a realtor, she's the one. Have you ever thought about what realtors do to earn their impressive commissions? Let me tell you…read moreabout my experience with The Bauma Group, a truly dynamic and effective team. Their impact can be summed up in two key areas: their attentive and talented team members and their exceptional marketing efforts for my home. **The Team:** Mary Jo was my "Listing Agent," and she was nothing short of amazing! She guided me through the entire process, anticipating my questions and providing answers even before I asked. Her extensive experience shone through her proactive approach. At every step, she kept in touch with other team members, ensuring I was updated on their progress. Mary Jo's assistant, Kelly, sent me preliminary forms to review, ensuring everything was accurate and comprehensive. Since I had already moved 200 miles away, I truly appreciated her diligence in monitoring the property and coordinating access. The team even had a courier who checked on everything at the house. Michael, the Concierge, kept me informed with links to the "coming soon" listing on their website, Instagram, and Facebook. Different team members managed the open houses and coordinated with me beforehand to highlight key features of the property. Mary Jo guided me through the offers, while Kandice handled various aspects of the closing. Each team member was friendly, skilled, and made me feel important as a person. Their effective communication was evident, with everyone aware of each other's contributions. **Marketing:** The way this team presented and promoted my home was outstanding. I initially thought my house was ready to sell, but after following their recommendations (which I called a hit list), I saw a significant difference. Their suggestions helped modernize the appearance, emphasize key features, and effectively showcase the property. This resulted in 31 showings in just one week! Their marketing strategy included: - An 8-page dynamic brochure instead of a simple flyer - National exposure - Stunning drone photos - A 3-D virtual tour in the listing - Assistance with staging - Promotion through their website, Instagram, and Facebook Prior to listing with them, my house sat on the market with another agency for 6 months, garnering fewer than 10 showings and no offers. After switching to The Bauma Group, I was thrilled to sell my house over asking in less than a week. Their professional system and dedication truly impressed me. I wholeheartedly recommend The Bauma Group for anyone looking to sell their home!

Reinhart hooked us up with Travis Otto, who sat down with us and showed us all MLS properties that indicated they might accept land contracts for payment terms. My wife and I ended up moving into a rental, and not buying, but 9 months later, we started looking for homes to purchase with a VA loan. Travis worked hard to show us properties that we were interested in, helped locate properties that we might be interested in, and helped us to find a lender. While showing us homes, Travis rocks. He has over 20 years experience as a builder, and he would immediately recognize issues that might need to be addressed. He gave us life expectancies of roofs, pointed out wood door walls that needed replaced, told us whether a basement could be finished to code, whether a basement was finished to code, identified drainage problems in yards, and more. Travis works out of Ann Arbor, but he's from Dexter and knows both areas extremely well. He also does the surrounding areas. Our house ended up being in South Lyon, although our search started in Ann Arbor. Travis was very fast to respond to texts and e-mails, even on the weekends. He went to bat for us several times during the negotiation and closing process, and he definitely earned his commission. He truly enjoys what he does. He loves helping families to buy and sell homes, and making a positive lasting impression on the lives of families. My wife and two daughters will always remember this kind hearted guy. He was a huge part in making our wish to own a house become a reality. Travis is super generous with his time and resources, and we want to thank him and his family for all the time that he puts into his job.

Travis took my husband and me to several types of properties in the Ann Arbor area and could point out advantages and disadvantages to various aspects of their construction. He was completely professional and honest and did not hold back his educated opinions about the quality and livability of real estate we toured. Also, Travis is very responsive both via email and telephone--a HUGE plus when you're looking at real estate. He told us from the get-go that he's very hands on and dedicates himself to working directly for his clients and that was the truth! Ultimately, my husband and I moved our search to a different region due to work considerations. But Travis gave us a personal introduction to another agent knowledgable about construction in that region--which we really appreciate. I recommend Travis Otto. You'll be in excellent hands and have someone in your corner to help you make the best possible decisions with your money.
