We decided to sit inside. I love the decor. Outside is nice too as it's right across from the water. I actually knew what I wanted - the fish soup. No need to even look at the menu. The bread with our meal was delicious. My dining partner's fish dish perfect. The real star is the soup. The broth is heavenly. I could drink just the broth and be happy but it's also packed with fish, mussels and shrimp. It's like a never ending bowl of the most amazing fish and broth. So fresh. Being on the water Konghshamn has dock space which you can bring you boat up to. The restaurant has a nice small menu focused on local ingredients including forged and found goods. Seafood dishes have more new Norwegian spin to them. For locals who eat fish day and day out this might not be the place for them. They also have a beer list focused on micro breweries from Norway. This trend has expanded in Norway dramatically over the last few years. Make sure you request a table by the window. Some of the tables can be rather dark.
