MSD has provided a sense of normalcy and routine, an opportunity for our daughter to stay connected with friends, and continued exceptional dance/twirl training throughout these very challenging times. Thank you so much to all of the faculty for your incredible work during this unprecedented time. Your love for dance shines through everything you do! If you are looking to enroll your child (or yourself!) in a dance class, I highly recommend checking out Martin's amazing new facility and everything they have to offer! Inside their incredible space, you will be surrounded by talented and creative teachers and coaches that celebrate over 60 years of tradition and innovation. More importantly, though, you will find a caring environment that challenges each dancer to reach his or her own potential. There is truly a class for everyone. Whether looking for an introduction to movement with your tiny-tot, a fun beginner class to try something new, a full competitive program with exams and competitions, or an adult class as a former dancer or even a brand new dancer - MSD has a class waiting for you! My daughter has danced competitively at Martin for the past 5 years and has been part of the Sundown Optimist Baton Group for the past two years. Her dance/twirl family has become so important to her, even at such a young age! I am a former dancer myself, and I am enrolled in the Studio '53 University/Adult Advanced Tap! I look forward to this class every week! We chose Martin because of the exceptional dance/twirl training we knew we would receive and we have stayed at Martin because of the relationships and friendships that we have formed! She loves walking through the studio doors because she gets to do what she loves with her best friends! MSD provides so much more than technical dance training - dance builds confidence and self esteem, provides an outlet for both physical fitness and mental well-being, fosters a sense of independence and maturity, and nurtures friendships. Not only did we get to see the world's largest T. Rex, this entire museum did a fantastic job showing the history of Saskatchewan. Fantastic. I would definitely come back and would suggest everyone to stop!

I live in Calgary, and have a selection of about 4 movie theatres within 15-20 minutes of my house. So driving to the opposite end of the city to see a newly-released movie is unheard of for me. Growing up in south end of Regina, I had the choice of the Rainbow or Southland theatres. Both are still there, but the Cineplex does not always show all of the newest flicks as it did when I was a teen and it was THEE place to go for Cheap Tuesdays in the summer. Which is ridiculous considering the population growth around Harbour Landing and in the East (I feel sorry for you Eastenders having to drive all the way to the NW!). Regardless, my mom and I wanted to see a chick-flick, so we bought tickets online, with several warnings from my mother that we had to be EARLY! We could not just show up when the movie is starting or we would be stuck in the front row. Mom didn't lie. After navigating their nightmare parking lot, we walked into the Galaxy and into utter chaos. Line-ups everywhere - thankfully the lines at the concessions moved quickly. And we were so early that we got decent seats. The theatre is a good theatre - so I'm not giving them a poor rating as it's not their fault that Regina lacks entertainment facilities. But you think any business person with half a brain would open another theatre in the city to take some of the load off this location???

It is a small local gallery in the main branch of the public library. The Dunlop focuses on local artists. It is interesting to see what local artists are doing and this is a good venue for them.

The staff did a great job with the crowd. The new ticket system simplified the process. There were all kinds staff in costume for photo ops and handing out prints. The entire evening was fun. I can't remember the last time I saw a crowd applaud at the end of a movie.

I'll be honest, I've only ever had the burgers from here... but wow, what a burger…read more I would score this place a little better then just a 4, but the food (read 'burgers') is (are) a little basic for 5*s. Quite likely the best 'bang for the buck' as far as a burger goes in Regina. Where else can you get a giant burger that fills a larger square take-out container for just over $6, and it even has flavor! Only Con: If you get the 'Garlic Serb' burger you can expect to be burping it for a quite a few hrs and if you eat it in your car or you will be smelling it for a week!
