I saw how important it is to hire a customs broker when I showed up at cargo. They were about to tell me the "procedure" of getting cleared through customs. A fellow dog owner told me about his 3-hour red tape nightmare running to customs across the airport, getting forms done, waiting while customs cleared, all while his puppy sat in cargo after a long flight. Not with us. We showed up, told them we have a customs agent, signed a few forms. Ellen had cleared our dog through customs while she was in-flight and they saw it in the computer as good to go. As soon as the pup showed up to the cargo area, we got her minutes later. Based on what friends who have had the same experience without a broker told us, we saved at least 3 hours or more at the airport for pickup. Thank you Ellen. A Mr. Jeff Smith was suppose to email me their new account information. Two days went by and no email. When I called Jeff he said he had forgotten. Later that day I did receive his email. I responded by sending him information on an upcoming shipment and ask for a quote and breakdown of the charges. After 2 weeks with no response I emailed him again. Still no response at all. Don't waste your time. Contact another company!
