G&H specializes in the Whirlpool line of appliances. We were looking for a refrigerator…read morealternative to Lowes and Home Depot who tend to feature LG and Samsung products and have very few Whirlpool brands on display (Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana and others). G&H had a good selection. They were very friendly, and helpful. Their prices are competitive with Lowes and Home Depot (actually $2 cheaper, by design). Unfortunately we live pretty far out of their delivery zone, so we weren't able to purchase the KitchenAid we viewed. Still, I wanted to recommend anyone in the market to give G&H a shot.

I requested a quote from them for several trees and shrubs to be removed. Eddie came out and walked…read morethe property with me and even suggested some others be removed that weren't on my list. I asked if he could do a flat rate/day rate due to the large number of trees to remove and he said he does that. I asked how long to complete what we discussed. He said 2 days. I agreed and scheduled it. the first day there was some rain so they left after only 5 hours. The rain stopped right after that and was dry the rest of the day. The next day he told me they were going to stay longer to make up for the day before. rain came in again and stopped. They didn't put in any extra time and still only worked 5 hours. The rest of the time was spent packing up their stuff. In the end, I DIDN'T get anything even close to what he said he could do in 2 days....not even half of what he said he could do!! He didn't even offer to come back out and finish the job (without getting paid for that visit too) He still wanted all the money for the 2 days even though they only "worked" for a total of 10 hours over 2 days!! Besides being out a lot of money for very little work, they destroyed my front yard with their equipment and didn't offer to do anything about it. That will end up being a lot more money out of my pocket to repair all the ruts and damage they caused. I will also probably have to find someone who can finish the job that they couldn't or wouldn't. I'm VERY unhappy with the experience I had with them. If they are willing to complete what he said he could do in the timeframe he quoted me, I would be happy and update or change this review. He has NEVER offered to do that as of yet. Until then, I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone!! After my experience, my advice would be to get everything he says he can do in writing and not to pay the full amount unless it's ALL completed. He says you don't have to pay until they're done and you're happy.....That was not the case with me; he wanted to be paid despite the job not being completed and definitely not completed to my satisfaction (from what he said he could do, but didn't).

Not thrilled. Website says "Upfront Pricing. We quote before we start. No hidden fees, no…read moresurprises. Transparent pricing every time." However... I was told $150 on the phone (I had to ask, price was not given up front), but was told after the work was done that it was $200. He had to drill the lock, said could not pick it. No mention of any price increase or upcharge for that, and besides, it's not on the customer to make sure the lock can be picked... isn't that the service being provided? To get me back inside the house? If it needs drilled, then drill, but why is that an upcharge without any explanation at all?? He also said something about the door being "a new door" ?? Again, it's not on the customer to make sure to have a door that's easy to work with. It's a standard door, nothing fancy or complex at all. And no exceptions were mentioned at any time. Nothing was ever said about being $50 more for any specific type of door, door knob, or door lock. After all, I did call a locksmith... Anyway, I should have been given the price increase info before the work, giving me the option to say "thanks, no thanks" or accept the new higher amount. But, I was not given that opportunity. I was just told $150 over the phone, then told I owed $200, after the work was done. I certainly don't have $200 to spare (or even $150), but I needed the locksmith service, so... To be fair, the locksmith was pleasant enough, and the work was sufficient enough, but I can't help but feel like I have been taken advantage of. I won't use this company again.
