So far, the transaction and experience each time was smooth. Though it is true that they may not always have smaller bills/denominations like the others have mentioned. They do keep the doors locked at all times, and you can only go in through the front door (not from the back door through the indoor plaza, which was a tad inconvenient, especially during the cold weather!) They usually will open the door when they see you standing outside. If they are occupied, you will have to call their number to reach them to open the door.

I am well aware that quickbooks has it's own issues, especially in the…read morecustomer service department, but having the payroll system and general data entry module in the same system made things easier and kept the records straight and clean. In fact I love the quickbooks payroll system for what it is. So why change something if it's not broken! Exactly! For the record it wasn't my idea to change systems. What we were subscribing to at the time was the cheapest rate for monthly usage for quickbooks at a mad locked in rate, a rate will never get back. We switched systems just to save the company $20 a month. I've been down this road with other companies that I have worked for in terms of finding an alternative for payroll and it all comes down to the fact that quickbooks does charge more but the book keeping is smoother. Sadly this independent payroll processing company is costing our company 25% more with hidden fees they did not disclose in spite of me asking multiple times during their presentation of any hidden fees. In fact I was actually promised at the time that I would not have any hidden fees. They take more than 5 business days to direct deposit payment. Customer service is 50/50 but there are moments in which there's a condescending person on the other line. There platform for payroll is illogical and not user friendly. This is coming from someone who has 12 years of bookkeeping experience. I've worked on over 6 platforms throughout my career. They provide you with a general journal entry for book keeping, however, reconciliation of the month end statements against these journal entries is a complicated pain in the ass which actually costs the company more administration hours......all these for saving $20 which isn't really saving anyone anything as outlined above. I tried pleading to not get rid of quickbooks payroll in spite their own issues. For starters finance and book keeping are two but one in the same. Also just cause someone knows some book keeping but doesn't know quickbooks shouldn't be the final decision maker in what they feel is the best software platform to work in, especially when said person has openly said that they have very little quickbooks experience.
