EDIT 6/19/26: Although I stand by my initial opinion that these are not best business practices (and at worst, potentially deceptive), I am happy to share that a satisfactory resolution was reached. I was contacted via email by the operations manager this morning, 6/19/26. She stated, "You were correct; the girls did not fully explain that we require one full draft when you were signing your membership agreement." She let me know that my request came through after she had left for the day and stated that due to the miscommunication/omission by staff, I would not be charged for a second billing cycle (which is ridiculously referred to as "one full draft", completely ignoring the initial *full draft* plus sign up fee totaling over $100). This should be clearly disclosed at sign up/payment, or better yet, done away with because the policy serves no purpose other than to make Glo an extra $69.99 per person here and there. Despite my feelings about the policy, I am satisfied with this resolution. However, I feel bad for the very friendly and helpful on-site staff, and I hope they aren't reprimanded for the "miscommunication/omission", which I view as either a lapse in training or a lack of transparency by the company. Not the fault of on-site staff. As I stated in my initial review, the facilities are nice and clean. Even if you aren't a tanner or are concerned about skin cancer and premature aging, they have something for you. They have sunless tanning (spray tanning), which I cannot review because I didn't use it. However, I really enjoyed and highly recommend their Wellsystem Wave and their Body Facial/Cocoon pods. If I had time, I would use them every day. These are both so warm and relaxing and would be especially therapeutic and comforting during the winter (be sure to hydrate before using the Body Facial pod). They have red light therapy beds. I didn't use these since I have a panel at home and overuse is counterproductive. I highly recommend using red light therapy beds, though, for anti-aging skin rejuvenation, muscle recovery, pain relief, reducing inflammation, and helping with symptoms of SAD. Another great thing about Glo is that you can use up to four services per day with your membership. I believe the steep membership fees are justified for this reason alone: It really is like a spa experience rather than just a tanning salon. And again, it can't be overstated, Glo Paragould staff are warm and friendly and make you feel welcome. They are knowledgeable and helpful. ORIGINAL REVIEW 6/18/26: The Glo facilities in Paragould, Arkansas were nice and on-site staff were very friendly and always helpful. However, before paying for my first month, I asked more than one time if there was any contract or commitment involved. I was told "no". I asked for clarification, "I only want to do one month. I'll only be coming a few times prior to an event this month." The employee responded, "As long as you cancel by the 20th, you won't be charged for the next month" and "there's no minimum amount of months. There's no contract." I paid for my membership on the first or second day of June. Following my event, on 6/18/26, I stopped by Glo to cancel my membership. I was handed a piece of paper with "Guest Services 405-708-6320" printed on it and was told that I was unable to cancel in person, but that I would need to call that number to cancel instead. I raised my eyebrows and thanked the employee who helped me. She responded "I know," as if I was not the first person surprised by this policy. I called the guest services number and was told that I could not cancel my Glo membership until I "completed a draft cycle." These words were never uttered to me once in person when signing up. She explained that I will "complete a draft cycle" when my next payment is received (so another month's membership). When I asked the employees on-site when signing up and paying, I was told there was no minimum amount of months and no contract. I made this clear to the customer service representative, but she just repeated that I must complete a draft cycle and informed me that that information is detailed in my contract. What contract?? I don't remember signing anything. I selected my membership level and handed my card to the on-site employee. This is an underhanded way of getting an extra $69.99 out of lots of customers.
