Glo is a great salon in downtown Grand Ledge. They feature great Bumble and Bumble products, and have the best staff in town! Even though I live in Los Angeles, I'm a Grand Ledge girl at heart, and any chance I can get I stop in for a cut and color with Todd. He is amazing and has tons of experience - no seriously, I've known him since about 1986, when I rocked a Rod Stewart hair cut, and mullets were all the rage! He does a wonderful job with color, and I'm always happy with my cuts and colors. Normally, he'll do 2-3 colors in foils for a really diverse look. He even did my hair on my wedding day, which turned out great! They offer all kinds of services, as well as mani pedis, and their prices are really competetive for such a great salon. Beautiful salon located in downtown Grand Ledge! I stopped in yesterday for a cut and color with Allison. She did such an amazing job! I have really stubborn gray and the Kevin Murphy color that she used covered great-not one gray hair showing through. She gave me such a cute cut! Love my new look! The salon is clean, all the staff are friendly and have great customer service! Allison was also very helpful in recommending product for me to get to maintain my look! I highly recommend stopping in if you haven't done so yet! I know that I will be back! read more

I experienced a very bad haircut with Todd. I have very thick, course, long hair and he was not equipped to handle thinning it out. He thinned the ends to the point where I have had to cut them off, I had to cut over 3 inches. He didn't thin the middle at all so I left there with a very heavy, full middle and wispy ends. After he was done destroying my hair he put an obscene amount of product in to the point that I couldn't even run my fingers through it. I had to shower immediately after my cut which was very dissapointing. Definitely not the result I was hoping for from a "professional" $50 haircut. I wish he would have known his own limits so he would have recommended me to someone else in the salon. I will say however I was so upset to the point of tears it was hard to speak, so I don't know how the salon may or may not have tried to make reparations. read more

Glo and the owner are horrible, from start to finish. Stylist said she had experience (I asked for an experienced stylist), when I arrived she looked young, so I asked and she said she was 19. She started to comb my hair but then left me to address her previous client who came back for a touch up. Returned for a few, looked scatter-brained and ran out to cry. Not feeling confident at all, I asked why she seemed to be stalling...she didn't know where to start. I think she was there to just do the shampoo and when no other stylist was available, she didn't know what to do. But it got worse. I left and called the owner to discuss it and she is RUDE! Her response was for me to come back and meet with her and that stylist and discuss it! WHAT?? Clearly no business acuity! I do not recommend this place! read more
